The SS is just as compromised as the FBI, NSA, CIA, ATF, IRS, and every other federal agency. They did not secure the venue, they allowed multiple shots to be fired at Trump before returning fire, and took way too long to move Trump out of the kill zone. This was another inside job. President Trump, please rely ONLY on your own personal security team going forward.

Another thing that someone needs to be on the hot seat about is the fact that RFK Jr. has not been given any Secret Service protection throughout his campaign. I know he hasn't been a public official in the past, but the fact that both his father and his uncle were assassinated makes me think he deserves the protection. I'd never vote for the guy, but come on. Do it in honor of JFK and RFK Sr., if nothing else.
I agree he needs protection, but I believe I read candidates need to poll at a certain %, or get a certain % of votes? To qualify.

I 100% agree wtf. They would have the experience in planning, positioning, and perimeter protection and likely would have led teams similar to what the USSS uses.
Die - you are correct for bodyguards, but we are talking about the leader and not the teams. They require different skillsets.
Personal security is a different animal from what most military are trained for.
Being a bodyguard for a public figure is a different skill set.
It is truly comforting that the most important people in the country are kept safe by a woman who knows how to manage security card readers to the sugar warehouse at a soda factory better than anyone else on the planet.

The white or hispanic woman (who looked like she couldn't pass an obstacle course) behind the SUV looked like she didn't know what to do with her weapon once she had it out. She looked really uncomfortable on how she should hold it, and where.
She reminded me of that black woman from the Police Academy movies who was meek and timid (though she eventually found her voice).
