What they should be telling members is that all those manufacturing jobs that were shipped to Chyna and Mexico are coming back and that new industries will be starting requiring all the building trades, maintenance and service employees of all skill levels. Full employment is the goal. Vote Trump/Vance
I think in the beautiful new world we won’t be working 40 hours a week anyways. There really isn’t a need to other than our bullshit fiat currency and taxes paid to a bloated government. I get it if you own a business or manage a large one but the average Joe doesn’t need to really.
I hope the new world is a family oriented society where we prioritize healthy families and healthy children.
Think about how many of our problems would go away if we lived in a God and Family first society. Where one income can provide again. Or two part time incomes can provide again.
No bullshit taxes, no usury, no bloated health care system, no more ridiculous zoning on housing.

Precisely. I worked FOR a union for the first 10 years of my career, and therefore had to be IN a different professional union by virtue of holding that position. My employing organization was staffed by some of the most dishonest and corrupt leaders I've come across in my entire career...who spent ALL of their time lying to, and gaslighting, the membership. Not to mention, pissing away and living large off of all of those membership dues. It was disgusting. I see little need for unions any longer in the 21st century.
And when you strike, you NEVER recoup what was lost while striking. The union frequently seems to support management not the dues paying workers.
Every union I've seen in the last decade near me has a no striking clause. What's the point of a union than. I was only in 1 once. I hated it so much. I ended up leaving one day and never went back. I also took all my dues I paid in from the company before leaving too in my form of currency.

It's so obnoxious. I've noticed for the most part the last decade or so that this kind of old school union garbage is dying off, most just see the union as a source for a paycheck and don't get caught up in the 'brotherhood' bullshit.
Based on local conversations,I doubt their gaslighting will change anyone's mind at this point. It's just going to piss the rank and file off more than they already are.
I work a lot of overtime,this would be huge pay increase for me.
