A couple years ago, I heard of a meeting that took place 80s or early 90s about gangsta rap as a new style of music that was going to be invented. That those who did it would be promoted and supported. Most musicians at the meeting went along with it, but at least 1 did not. Can’t remember the specifics as I don’t listen to rap at all. Maybe the organizers were influential producers or heads of labels or bankers.
Yes, and once the kids finally have all the trending clothes they switch the fashion trend again so they are now "out of style" and have to buy a whole new wardrobe. In the 1990s and 2000s the trend was big and baggy as possible; now it's the complete opposite, skinny jeans and tight XS shirts.
Actors are people who temporarily pretend to be something they’re not. In Tupac’s case, it was en extended role - one much longer than normal. I would imagine that the longer it went on, the more natural his alter ego became, and the more convincing he became. The entire entertainment industry is sketchy as hell, because characters can be used to influence the masses. The puppet masters know that a good portion of humanity are lemmings.
This was obvious to me when I was 15. I saw how rap and hip hop in the 90's took over the minds of many boys I knew from school. These kids came from good homes, good families, and they suddenly embraced garbage values and criminal behavior. Many -- more than I expected -- ended up dead or in jail. Two kids I knew decided to leave this world by shooting it out with the police. One rich kid decided to join a gang and double homicide himself into life in prison. Another 16 year old got killed point blank in the head by a rival gang member.
So the ganster rap psyop was successful in my neck of the woods. All my friends know I can't listen to that crap when it comes on TV.
The idolization of materialism, crime, sex, drugs, and gang life... I don't think it is surprising that 12.5% of the population commits over 70% of crime.
They also started "I don't need no man" culture. I also don't think that it's a coincidence that blacks have the most single parent households.
The liberal movement has destroyed everything in its path. Absolute evil
Who is behind the lib movement? I think that is the black community's real enemy. Not white people...
It started with that _unt that burnt her bra!
Oooh if I could time travel, I would gladly do the time.
This was the beginning of the destruction of the family unit.
The hen was not tending her chicks.
Gangsta rap is not all rap. That's the issue presented, though admittedly by the time the 2000s rolled around most of it had been influenced enough to contain some gangsta DNA.
Go listen to Ice T, Kool G Rap or NWA {especially after Cube left} from the late 80s.
Then compare with LL, Epmd or public enemy from the same era.
Been hearing this for years, and falls right in line with all the OG rappers, Ice T, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, etc becoming actors in tv shows and movies, and playing cops of all things. Word to yo Mother!
About 10 years ago I did a job at an ex-NFL player's business in TN and while wiring up some equipment (laying on my back on floor underneath), he asked me; if I liked "Christian rap" - I told him I didn't think so... and he insisted on playing it.
After about 3 minutes into hearing some completely f'd up song about Jesus with gangster rap melody...I told him if he didn't "Turn that shit off, I'm walking off the job"...I made sure to put a few bags of foam "circus peanut" ear protection inserts in my tool kit in case anyone plays the Mars Attacks gangster rap soundtrack 🙄
I didn’t downvote you but I can somewhat understand why someone else might’ve. You didn’t demonstrate that the song was messed up enough to be that rude to the guy.
Jeez...was like 10+ years ago man. My memory isn't that good when it comes to remembering lyrics to a song that was kryptonite/acid - I only painfully heard one single time...(Thank God for that!)
The melody style could have been any drive by shooting song - and to be honest, I didn't give a shit what the intention was ... I didn't get a peaceful/loving vibe AT ALL from music that is supposed to honor the prince of peace. I'd even say I thought it was borderline blasphemous - at the very least, in bad taste.
and Jada Pinket Smith loved this faggot sooooooooooooo much that she made her daughter write a letter to him (years after he died) telling him that if he would/could just come back, her mother could find happiness again. he was a freaking faggot for crying out loud. he didn't love her, he was acting.
look at all the women who just loved him, it's disgusting the way they play the people.
No matter what the market says, it takes people who want that product, to buy that product.
There is, was and will always be a segment of the society that wants to destroy what others have built, kill those who produce, and sit back and watch the world burn. They delight in creating chaos and misery.
Young white men were the target, tbh.
When albums sell, it's because white people are on board. This isn't racist, it's pure numbers based on population.
Rock / Metal in the 80s wasn't doing enough damage.
Good point.

Here it is. This same copypasta has been passed around for at least 12 years (I swear I remember reading this before 2012).

Thanks, fren
"Fashion trends" are decided the same way.

Ice Cube talked about this in an interview somewhat recently seemingly corroborating this.
There was a video posted here on GA a few years ago as well.

The Deep State has infiltrated and subverted art and culture and have been doing so since the 1950s. So why would this surprise anyone here.
Rap hasn't just impacted the black community. UK seems to have their own issues with rap...

LOL WHAT IS HAPPENING

But stlll, some have started to use rap to fight for freedom. MAGA rap is a thing now.
I still don't like it much but hat is not a bad way to fight. Take what your enemy uses, convert, use it against them.

I kind of enjoy Tom MacDonald to be honest.

They are all fakes
my gandpa always used to tell me he didn't care what type of music i listened to, "as long as its not that gangster rap garbage."
Rap. Put a C in front of it.
yep, thats how i see rap myself

What was messed up about the song? The style or the lyrics?
Yes
Both.
What dbag dv'd?
I'm sorry, were you there?
EDIT: Some of you mfers need to find Jesus...😂😂😂
Can you remember an example of a messed up lyric?
I didn’t downvote you but I can somewhat understand why someone else might’ve. You didn’t demonstrate that the song was messed up enough to be that rude to the guy.

next week on Church Chat: borderline-blasphemous melody
CB4 has a good premise but it drags on too long. The movie might’ve been Chris Rock’s way of telling us that many gangsta rappers were fake.
What gangsta rap did was ruin the lives of anyone gullible enough to listen to it.
The Deep State could never be considered as evil geniuses... because their plans always seem to go sideways.
That's faggotry right there.
Eliminate trade schools.
Incentivize single moms with kids from multiple fathers.
Flood the ghettos with guns and crack.
Set up prisons for profit.
Make sure the schools are terrible.
Encourage violence through gangster rap.

Dig into this guy he's a major factor in this.
