Sadly in some neighborhoods they rely on stores like Walgreens because they have no grocery stores. So they buy small grocery items there and save their big grocery shopping for when they get a ride to a grocery store
I purchase an item at Walgreens, I always check the price on the label from the store, when I check out it was more. I call a foul, walk back tag a photo went to clerk, her response was oh, they forgot to remove the tag. BS
In fairness, a lot of Walgreens are in over saturated markets. I've seen areas where there are like 5 of them within a relatively small radius. But I can easily see the ones in certain areas getting robbed blind.
Pharmacists know much more about drugs and their interactions and you are supposed to be able to consult with them. However, the drug stores want to churn out a volume, and good luck getting 5 min of their time. They make 100K a year fresh out of school but they spend as much time in school as a Dr. A PHD level of hard classes. 65K-200K
If leftist run city looting is the main issue driving store closure, why would Florida be highest on the list of states with most closures. Does not make sense.

Is Walgreens a nationwide chain? There are none in my area (PA), and the only ones I've ever seen were in kalifornia.
Ohio is lousy with them, along with CVS and the occasional Riteaid.
