I think early voting also blocks the DS from stealing someone’s registration to match to a phony ballot. How many people showed up to vote on Election Day 2020 only to be told they already voted?
Trump at every rally says vote early. If you wait last minute its a lot easier to flip a vote.
Especially in liberal cities. They will vote for you.

The dumbass liberals try to pass it off as same day voter registrations, but they can't seem to point out why the voter roll numbers don't add up.
I know the way most people are. Serious, if there were 300 million votes cast, many people would just shrug their shoulders and say, well, the evidence shows that there are indeed 300 million votes.
I've seen blue city precincts report over 100% turnout for the past two elections, and nobody makes much of a stink about it. It's always claimed that same day registrations are the cause.

If a huge percentage of those eligible, vote before election day, the fact that xx% have already voted will be in the ether. The thought is then, if another huge block shows up on election day (or even later), such that xx% + yy% > 100%, it will make the cheating more apparent.
