What about all the people who suffered and died a miserable death because this was hidden so somebody could make money? Call me crazy but I want their fortunes seized. I doubt there would ever be enough to redistribute it to the families of people who became victims due to the fact that this was hidden. But perhaps the cash could be put toward researching cures for other diseases.
It's better than letting these creeps keep their ill gotten gains. And if it's a generational family fortune, give the heirs a small amount to start life anew and seize the rest.
