As the title says if you could skip Christmas this year to have Trump start on Dec 25, would you? That would be the best Christmas present ever!

I will never not celebrate the birth of My Savior Why not celebrate the birth of Jesus and celebrate the inauguration of the Best President EVER on the same day.
If we ever have a RL meetup I will bake you a cake. Great Answer
Sweet! 🤗🤗🤗
Not on Christmas Day but the day after, YES. Christmas Day is for Jesus.
The Great Awakening means shedding illusions. Live every day for Christ, not just December 25.
You are jumping to conclusions.
Christmas is the Lord's day. We celebrate on December 25, but that date is probably wrong, but I don't care. It's a day when Jesus is celebrated. Trump can have the day after, and I think he would agree.
nah... let's start the day after Christmas.... one more day won't hurt!
Boxing Day does seem more appropriate
100% Christmas is an over hyped financial drain. I haven't celebrated in years.
Me too, although I do plan to have plenty of meat to eat.
Myself included & local beef to boot !!

Give "The Battle for Christmas" The Battle for Christmas: A Cultural History of America's Most Cherished Holiday Paperback – October 28, 1997 by Stephen Nissenbaum (Author) 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 286 ratings See all formats and editions PULITZER PRIZE FINALIST • Drawing on a wealth of research, this "fascinating" book (The New York Times Book Review) charts the invention of our current Yuletide traditions, from St. Nicholas to the Christmas tree and, perhaps most radically, the practice of giving gifts to children.
Anyone who laments the excesses of Christmas might consider the Puritans of colonial Massachusetts: they simply outlawed the holiday.
It's a wonderful read; I think you will like it.
My daughter posted that she thought certain voters were not to be trusted protecting Anne Frank. She knows who I support, so she is saying I cannot be trusted to protect my grandson. It broke my heart. Christmas may never be the same. I will try, but please God, forgive my heart this season.
Keep praying for your daughter who is probably very brainwashed by the educational system and peer pressure and the need to fit in with the cool kids. I was once like that in my 20s but I believe my mom and grandma's constant prayers changed me. There is still hope.
To err is human, to forgive divine
There are those that believe Jesus actual birthday is Sept 11, which is why the deep state attacked that day. I can forgive, since they are invited this season, especially for my grandson, who is innocent. And I believe the tale of the prodigal son (or daughter). Yet, as a human with my own frailties, I am struggling. Give me hope and prayers, fren. I will do my best.
It's all we can do fren. God bless
Praying for her and you fren...🙏🤍
I am so sorry that happened. Of course you would protect your grand baby. I pity your daughter to be in such a place that she thinks that way. Please try and keep an ember of joy and hope and don’t let your hurt harden your heart. Someday she will understand that nothing is more important than love and a mother’s love is especially precious. A grandmother is such a special gift to a child. Someday she will understand that what one thinks is important isn’t nearly as what is actually. I pray it happens soon and she realizes she is chasing opinions of herself from others rather than embracing who has always been on her side. Hugs
I seem to recall Trump saying that we were going to have a good Christmas.
That would definitely be a great date for it.
Even biblical.
No reason two events can’t be on a single day.
Why would we have to skip Christmas?
One does not skip Christmas, as in, it would still be Christmas rather you are watching Trump be inaugurated with your family or not. Christ is King. while we celebrate it on a specific day, as long as you have Jesus in your heart and prayers and thanking God for this day, I do not see much of a difference.
Hell yes
absolutely
Why not New Years Day? New year, new president. Why not a week or two after the election? No one I know is commuting to D.C., in the snow, on horseback. Maybe it's way past time to fix it.
100%
Yes. To be honest, I'd skip Christmas anyway
No
Even though Dec. 25 was called Saturnalia by the Romans before the Church adopted the day as a celebration of the birth of Jesus and nowhere in the Bible are we told to celebrate His birth, I think it is good IF we use the time for who it was intended. MOST people use the time to show how greedy people can really be. It is a commercial holiday for the retail stores. JMO
Absolutely!
Just saying, God is responsible for everyday so don't get hung up on one day please. Like someone said " it's not even the right day"
No!! This is the birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
It's the day adopted by Christians, not the day of.
Could book him in on the 23rd.
I'd skip Saturnalia to get Trump in...
Solstice...3 days the sun is below the horizon (dead), 3rd day rises again...over the ocean to walk on water... and be the light of the world.
Let me clarify…skip the commercial part, not the true meaning of Christmas.
Yes. 100% agree. No reason to forget the reason for the season, either.
In a second!
Trump Inaugurated = Best Christmas Gift Ever for the whole World and entire Galaxy!
Nothing can stop what's coming! Enjoy the show! Regardless of what you think, we are just spectators to the greatest battle in the world's history! Our job is to comfort those that have no idea of what's really happening! Peace is the prize!
No.
Fuckin A
Nah
Skip the gifts, yes, Skip celebrating Jesus, no. (And I'm not even sure He was born this time of year!)
Yes since it's not really Christ's birthday anyway.
