It’s a shame he announced this, this far out. This gives those involved in crimes time to coverup and destroy evidence. Should have been announced Saturday before Inauguration and the doors barred and locks changed. Those dismissed should have had a military escort to their work station to make sure nothing was removed or damaged.
I'm 100% sure that they will be watched like a hawk. Computer data is likely already backed up, there will be extra monitoring on everything.
The easiest way to catch a crook is to make them reveal themselves and show you where their evidence was hidden.

good question, it is not customary to fire the entire National Sec. Council, more usual is replacing top staff. So normal would be less than all 200 to 400 staff. The establishment under David Rockefeller and other deep state figures made foreign policy and security objectives and policies aimed toward favoring their New World Order and subsequently NSC staff could be comfortable working under both Democratic and Republican administrations,
