Interestingly, Hollywood has pandered a great deal to the CCP censors in the last few years so they'd be able to sell movies in China. This is probably at least partly responsible for the declining quality of Hollywood's movies...

There are 2 now, but not made by Disney - and certainly not for kids (slasher movies). Most characters went into the public domain for the 1st movie, and Tigger and Owl are now public and in the 2nd movie. A third one is coming as well.
The backstory for the 1st movie is Christopher Robin went to college and left all the animals behind. They were starving and ended up eating Eeyore. Then they decided to take revenge. It was made on a $50,000 budget. The second one got a $5M budget.
I won't be surprised to see Mickey show up in the 3rd since he is public domain now as well. I'll have to watch that if he does.
