Ya know...I thought it was cute at the time, but 5+ years ago I was looking to hire a young engineer as part of a co-op / semester rotation position. I work for a very large engineering company known worldwide.
I got the typical candidates from all sorts of backgrounds, but this one Chinese girl stuck out because she emailed me often, was eager to have a phone and face-to-face interview, told me the dates she'd be away on a trip to Yellowstone AND took the time to send me a post card from Yellowstone.
I mean, who takes the time to send a postcard to a potential co-op employer?
Knowing what we now learned about Chyna, it makes a lot of sense.
Many of them have good intentions till they get here. Then CCP officials meet with them and tell them they must spy for them. If they don't, they threaten them that they will lock up their family members back home and throw them into work camps.
That's why we can't have any of these people in our country. None of them can be trusted.
Super frustrating for talented US students who cannot get into our state universities because most of the students are foreign rich Chinese and other Asians. We are in California (I know, I know..) and my son was really afraid he could not get into one of the better Univ of CA locations to finish his Elec Engineering degree, even tho he had a rare full ride transfer scholarship because of merit. In the end, they let him go to Univ of San Diego which was a shit show bec during Covid they sent everyone home to study in their bedrooms (try that with Elec Eng major!). AFTERWARDS we found out there is a massive collaboration between Planned Parenthood and UC San Diego biological sciences department for fetal experimentation!! GHOULISH!! My son is super based. This was very upsetting for us to learn.
I had to stop by the local "community" college a few years ago. HALF the students I saw walking around were Chinese. Our demographic is about 99% white.
Also look into Confucius Institutes that are set up in major universities.
PLEASE! That would make getting a job so much easier! Why do I have to compete against foreigners in America when Americans are still struggling to get jobs.
I bet this would open up so many high status jobs for actual Americans, so many more Americans could afford to have actual families.
And we give them and other foreign students scholarship which makes no sense. Our tax monies absolutely going out towards non-citizens for undergrad, grad, and professional schools like medical school.
When you have a quota to have x% of foreign students, something is absolutely wrong.
Most Americans don’t have no idea what kind of communism education these Chinese students had in China; they probably are all communists before they enter the United States.

Both State and private schools love Chicom spies for one reason only ... The cash they pay without discounts. They couldn't care less what they do with what they learn ... They only care that they pay well.
I'd deport all 350,000 Chinese students. 2 things would happen. First, we'd get rid of all the Chinese Spys gathering all our intellectural property. Second, we'd put many of he schools out of business if they didn't enroll American students who should be chosen over foreign students anyway.
I don’t believe for a minute that the CCP would let any of them come to the US without defined plans of stealing from the US, whatever it may be. Without that commitment those students wouldn’t be allowed to come.
Let's look at this is with a wider lense! Why would Chinese citizens want to study in America? Infiltration, better education or recognition! Do you think American Universities offer the best knowledge available? Do you believe that the system has been set up to accept graduates of these Universities more favourably? Do the Chinese chose infiltration over confrontation? Think why are people in developed societies leaving their countries? Nothing is what it seems!

My question: How many American students have visas to study in China?? Make us equal in that.
