We didn't have a fence or security - 1200 military families were sitting ducks. Several houses were robbed on my street. That was part of the reason I got out of the military. I had a brand new baby and wife at home all day alone. It was so bad that the military told us not to go to the local mall because it was too dangerous. Especially if you were white and female.
