It is becoming obvious that Netanyahu is thinking up exuses to maintain a war-footing, to keep his seat in the free world. Everybody wants to read their own meaning into that phrase. It could well mean, "For the sake of the preservation and prospering of Israel, the entire peace of the middle east must be secured."
