God wins only means that in the very end times, God prevails over evil. I don’t give it any meaning as to interim steps. It is an end game statement for me.
When I read ‘God Wins’ it reminds me that people don’t understand the sovereignty of God. God is in control of everything that happens from beginning to end. There was never any doubt about the conclusion of the world.
There will be a rapture of the church, and then the man of sin will be revealed and he will make peace with Israel for a 7 year period, but at 3 1/2 years he will declare himself God, and make war against Israel and the entire world will suffer under God’s wrath. At the end of the 7 year period, Chris will return and destroy all who have taken the mark of the beast. He will set up His kingdoms and will reign for 1000 years.
Once I learned about divine election and predestination being a theme all throughout both the old and new Testaments, I really began to understand and appreciate the magnitude of God's greatness, sovereignty, and power. It came with a pride-crushing, ego-destroying revelation and worldview shift. He knew us and loved us long before He created anything. It's wild realizing that some people will just never get the gift of grace because they aren't part of His plan like that. Not everyone receives the Holy Spirit and, those that do, do so because God created and compels us to seek Him. It's wild.. At this point, I couldn't care less what happens from here on out as far as my life on earth goes. I'm loving Him and everyone else, in that order. I only put my trust in Jesus and pray for the well-being of humanity. I stick around here because I've been going down rabbit-holes for ~20 years and I'm ready to at least see the final act after chasing rabbits for so long. I hope to see some of you on the other side. For those that don't know - Jesus loves you. Seek Him, confess your sins, and repent!
Predestination is counter to free will so you either will seek Jesus or not but you have no choice in this rendering it moot.
Im not denying grace but determinism.
God exists outside of what we perceive as time so his way of knowing is incomprehensible to us but knowing what we will choose doesnt equal predetermining what we will choose
Giving yourself ANY credit for ANY part of your salvation takes glory from Him. Yes, we all have free will and choice. No, that does not supersede God's magnificent supernatural power or divine plan for us. We seek Him because He draws us to Him by the Holy Spirit, not because we suddenly decided to seek Him. Many will never experience this because ultimately, they're not part of His plan. Even God knows every good movie needs a villain. Evil exists both separated from, yet working in conjunction with, God and His Creation.
I cant agree with any sort of determinism it renders moot the choice of good over evil. It also kind of runs contrary to the story of the garden. Why would we start there in the first place if we were predetermined to fall?
P.S. I'm not trying to convince you necessarily merely stating a contrary point of view
Jesus explicitly spoke about election in several of His teachings, affirming God's sovereign choice in salvation. Here are key passages where Jesus discusses this doctrine:
John 6:37, 39, 44, 65 – The Father’s Sovereign Gift
John 6:37 – “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”
John 6:44 – “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.”
John 6:65 – “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
In these verses, Jesus emphasizes that coming to Him is contingent upon the Father's initiative. The "giving" and "drawing" by the Father indicate a divine selection process, underscoring the concept of election.
John 15:16 – Chosen by Christ
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit...”
Here, Jesus directly states that His followers are chosen by Him, not the other way around. This selection is purposeful, aimed at bearing lasting fruit, highlighting the intentionality behind divine election.
Matthew 22:14 – Many Called, Few Chosen
“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
In the Parable of the Wedding Feast, Jesus illustrates that while the invitation (calling) is extended broadly, only a select group (the chosen) respond appropriately, aligning with the idea of election.
Matthew 24:22, 24, 31 – Protection and Gathering of the Elect
Matthew 24:22 – “But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”
Matthew 24:31 – “And he will send out his angels... and they will gather his elect from the four winds...”
In discussing end-times events, Jesus refers to "the elect" as those whom God has chosen, indicating their special status and the divine care afforded to them during tribulation.
Luke 18:7 – God’s Justice for the Elect
“And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night?”
Jesus assures that God will respond justly to His chosen ones, reinforcing the special relationship between God and the elect.
John 17:2, 6, 9, 24 – Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer
John 17:2 – “Since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.”
John 17:6 – “Yours they were, and you gave them to me...”
John 17:9 – “I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me...”
John 17:24 – “Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am...”
In this prayer, Jesus repeatedly mentions those whom the Father has given Him, indicating a specific group chosen by God to receive eternal life, further emphasizing the doctrine of election.
In summary: Jesus' teachings consistently affirm the concept of divine election:
Initiative of the Father: Salvation begins with God's choice and drawing of individuals to Christ.
Selective Calling: While many hear the gospel (the call), only the elect respond with saving faith.
Divine Protection and Justice: The elect are recipients of God's special care and justice.
Purposeful Selection: The elect are chosen to bear fruit and fulfill God's purposes.
This doesn't even begin to touch what all else regarding election came from the Prophets Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Hosea, Malachi, Micah, Zechariah.. Or even Paul, going back to the New Testament.
I can appreciate you disagreeing with me and providing a different perspective. It would hold more weight with Scripture that backs up the opinion.
The quotes here don't seem to point to that being the case
I stopped caring to continue on with the conversation right there.
You've provided nothing to refute what I posted other than telling me it doesn't seem to be. So, thanks for your input. I'm good from here. Stay blessed! Bye now.
I see it as a battle between good and evil. God is on the good side, thus he will win. Satan won't win because he isn't clever enough with his minions. He only selects the weak minded, thus they don't have the ability to figure out how to fight a preplanned attack from military intelligence officers. All they know how to do is steal, lie and cheat.
The law states: "As a discussion on the Internet grows longer, the likelihood of a person/s being compared to Hitler or another Nazi, increases." That means that as more people talk on the Internet for a longer time, it becomes more and more likely that someone will talk about Hitler or the Nazis.
When all the bs of this world - terrestrial matters - are burned up in an instant - because in God's Light, none of any of this stuff matters.
I say this from an experiential perspective, with zero belief in anything in any book, or told to me by any human. 100% knowing through experience.
When you experience Christ consciousness by doing as He (and others) have taught, all of this honkey tonk we call life, as consciousness playing the role of human, is burnt up in an instant... and for the first time in your life, looking through the eyes of Christ, you get it... and experience true love, unity and compassion for all living beings. Finally, loving your neighbor as yourself makes sense... effortlessly.
It means that we're all collectively fated. No matter what happens if it is good or bad, it's supposed to happen. Hence why the awakening is taking many years, and may take many more.
If we're in the end times, ok, whatever. But there's a reason beyond frustration that two moar weeks is a mere meme at this point.
Close your eyes and walk forward, dont even think about it. Your path was chosen long before you are born. Struggles only arise when you go against it.
God loves you, so when we voted for people who told him to fuck off, thats what he did. Its time Jesus returns, if not physically, then spiritually (in your heart)
The phrase "God wins" is often used in religious or spiritual contexts to express the belief that, ultimately, divine will or goodness will prevail over evil, chaos, or adversity. Its meaning can vary depending on the context, but here are the primary interpretations:
Theological Context: In many religious traditions, particularly within Christianity, "God wins" reflects the belief in the ultimate triumph of God's plan or kingdom. For example, in Christian eschatology (study of end times), it may refer to the victory of God over Satan, sin, and death, as described in texts like the Book of Revelation, where God's justice and love ultimately prevail.
Cultural/Social Media Context: On platforms like X, "God wins" is sometimes used as a hashtag or slogan to express faith, hope, or resilience in the face of challenges. It can be a statement of trust in divine providence, often tied to personal or societal struggles, suggesting that faith in God will lead to a positive outcome. For example, posts on X might use it to affirm belief in divine intervention during political or cultural conflicts.
Pop Culture or Symbolic Use: Outside religious contexts, "God wins" might be used metaphorically to signify the triumph of good over evil, justice over injustice, or hope over despair, even in secular settings. It can appear in motivational or inspirational content.
For me, "God wins" is stating the obvious, since I believe God is all-knowing and TRUTH and everlasting and immutable and infinite. He is Almighty and Creator of All. He is loving and merciful and full of grace. No creation can be greater than its creator, therefore it is impossible for anything of man to be greater than God. So, "God wins" is a shorter way of saying that everything about God is superior to everything about (fallen) man.
Another way to put it is "It is futile to go against God."
God wins only means that in the very end times, God prevails over evil. I don’t give it any meaning as to interim steps. It is an end game statement for me.
Amen. It means the end of the story, however it turns and twists, it ends with God winning.
What is interesting to me is that, at the end, there are only two witnesses. Seems like it’ll look like God is losing all up until the very end.
The GOODNESS in humanity eradicates the EVIL forces at work to destroy it.
Humanity becomes GOD aware and CHOOSES to do GOD's will.
GOD WINS as we win as we are of GOD and in GOD.
Having faith in the unseen and unknown. Trusting Him and knowing that He's in control and He's got this. Ultimately God wins over death.
When I read ‘God Wins’ it reminds me that people don’t understand the sovereignty of God. God is in control of everything that happens from beginning to end. Two questions: 1. Is divine election predetermined? (The quotes here don't seem to point to that being the case)
My ability to quote scripture is poor but heres an attempt
2 Peter 3:9 Galations 5:13 Mark 8:34 Revelations 3:5 and 3:20 Issaiah 55:7
Now it is late but i look forward to continuing this tomorrow Despite any difference in view good night my brother in Christ

We know the end of the book.

HA! Now that’s a hilarious interpretation.
lol. I meant to add some jocularity, but really, multiple meanings exist and the nazi accusations are at fever pitch as the discussion rages on.
I end up in Heaven for eternity...
To me, it means Ascension.
