I was 13 in 1976. It was a great time. THISwas my favorite commercial in the wide world.
I turn 62 this month. Yes, I am glad to be awake, but sorry for so many losses of sweet innocence -- don't think too deeply here - just remember for yourself back when an ice cold Coca Cola brought a smile.
remember for yourself back when an ice cold Coca Cola brought a smile
I was a little too young for this commercial, but I do remember smiling after an ice cold Coca Cola (in a bottle with real sugar).
I didn't realize at the time that that smiling poison was working towards the death of several members of my family to diabetes, heart disease, obesity and cancer. While I doubt Coke was solely at fault, it almost certainly contributed to the death of every single one of those diseases for various family members.
We all smiled in joy towards the people who were trying to kill us (with their food) and steal all our property (through their health care system caused by their food).
I was thinking about everything you mentioned:
The wokeness of cokeness
when it could kill a headache because it had cocaine in it, etc.
I just meant - think back when to us little kids - all was okay with the world as we knew it. ignorance can be bliss, then we have to go full-blown adult and dig in rabbit holes just to find proof to show our own grown kids that we are right and that so was trump.
Know this deepstate demons - we will do so much more than "put a boot in your ass". America is well on her way to being the freest, where liberty, joy and and justice for all abound under One God† in 3 persons - The Father†, the Son† and the Holy Spirit†. God† bless frens - peace.

We need a year of commercials like that. Nice dig.

Define "too" deeply. :)

Back when Coke was Coke...
Glass bottles... that caramel taste...
Then it all went to shit... right about the time they used glass, but enrobed the bottle in foam....
The beginning of the end...
Has anyone seen my bicycle vanity plate that was in the box of Honeycomb? 🤩

It doesn't take a time machine to know the next 365 days are going to be anything but boring.
I'm more interested to see if the July 5 event materializes.
What a wave of excitement it is to be here during these times.
I like the battle hymn of the republic.
