However...as ascended consciousness, and someone who aspires to become more Christ-like every day, the reality is much different. This construct is no different than a play or movie set. We're here playing a game for a while along the spectrum of eternity. When the play is over, the actors take off their costumes and go home. Just like a giant chess game...the white and black pieces all go back into the same box until the next game. Neither the actors nor the chess pieces are judged or punished because of the moves they made. There are books that say otherwise, but my experience shows they're just scare tactics to keep your ass in line. Everyone will have to decide for themselves if they blindly accept that or do the work to find out otherwise.
Now I don't expect you to agree with or understand what I'm saying - some will, but most, especially if indoctrinated into religious dogma, won't - and I gotta be honest - it's taken a LOT to even entertain the idea that a monster like HRC won't literally be tormented and punished for eternity - but at this point in my personal experience, communion with Christ and what I've discovered, I don't think it's going to happen like that at all when we leave our bodies and move on to the next thing.
There comes a point where retribution, no matter how justified or warranted it is, winds up hurting YOU... and that's sometimes hard to deal with. Mostly because it defies logic...but still hurts/gnaws away at you after the fact.

I do agree with most of it, I too struggle with my Christian beliefs of forgiveness.
BUT, I believe our forgiveness has been weaponised against us. We are in a fight for our survival, good versus evil.
