I LUUURRVVEE mine. Very precise thumblever-driven control, no tilting necessary. Can be used on a tiny weedeater tank or large mower tank with no difference, chug or dribble take your pick.
Yeah, I have one of those, and assure you that the one I posted a link to is much easier to use. No need to tilt it while holding it at an awkward angle with your offhand. You can use your main hand to hold it, or even rest it on something, and let the gas just flow out of the bottom. The lever is much easier to control flow rate on than the button. Aiming isn’t reliant on having the weight distributed just right so the tilt stays in place, just put the hose in the tank inlet, it can even flex into a bunch to do so if you need.
I’m not sure why that wasn’t the design decades ago, really.
They're meant for gasoline. They just can't "tell" us that. They're used on race tracks everywhere. But yes, you are correct, and I have made that mistake before. kek
Hmm, the letter just points out that vents are allowed, but they must be self-closing and the cans must be child-resistant. Probably better than what they're selling now but not necessarily as good as pre-2009 gas cans.
I'm a fan of people learning things the hard way. Too stupid to not realize bleach smells horrible and is slightly caustic? Please, drink a whole bottle, see what happens. Think clothes softener smells good? Drink it with a straw.

YES!! I just filled my weed-wacker this morning and of course I got gas all over my hands because the POS nozzle assembly leaks.
The EPA and OSHA treat everyone as if they are little children unable to protect themselves.
Eliminate the EPA and FED OSHA.
They are ridiculously difficult. I just take the whole cap off and use a big funnel to pour. That's the way that it used to be and worked so well.

U just removed the whole cap and used a funnel. Freaking hated these cans. The spouts and buttons would break within a year. May they rest in piss
Pro tip. Buy the blue cans for water. Exact same as gas can but with the old school spout.
I just use "utility jugs." Sure they say don't put fuel in them, but that's just there for legal reasons. They work well.
