President Trump just slew the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Now the aftermath is hitting the radio and TV affiliate stations. It will take some time for them to understand just how completely they have been set adrift. The "left" won't pull out their wallets to keep things going the way they were.
Staff will be cut. Most, if not all stations would be unable to afford the large scale membership drives with recorded performances by top level artists.
As their viewers/listeners fall away, so will their programming which will leave for more profitable accommodations (if possible) or cease production (more likely). They will become irrelevant.

I see a possibly different playout. The Trump administration is, so far, artfully pulling the plugs on the Deep State propaganda and action machinery by defunding USAID and NPR/PBS. There will be an avalanche effect as dependent stations curtail their broadcasts and MSM news/entertainment collapses, along with ANTIFA logistics. Meanwhile, the ordinary people are dropping MSM like fly shit and turning to other sources. The other sources will pick up a drumbeat of "Arrest them! Arrest them!" It will get to the point where the only people left who could be upset with arrests would be a small, impotent activist minority, while the vast majority of Americans would look on incuriously. A typical conversation might sound like:
"Oh, George. Did you hear that John Brennan was arrested today?"
"What? I thought he had passed away. Wasn't he on 'The Real McCoys'?"
"No, dear. That was Walter Brennan. He died 50 years ago. This is John Brennan."
"John Brennan? Who the hell is he?"
"The former head of the CIA. He's also a Muslim. They say he participated in a hoax against Trump."
"I wouldn't be surprised. I'm tired of these jerks. They should give him a cell with a window facing Mecca and throw away the key."
Those of us that are awake know why and want to see action, NOW. But so many people are still sleeping sheep and have little or no clue as to what has occurred or what is happening currently. This is due in large part to the continued propaganda spewed by the mainstream media or that the media refuses to even mention what's going on. I have been a very patient man but am getting tired of waiting for justice.

I think summer is too full of not paying the toon, travel, vacation…after Labor Day…but there is work to do until then..
