I don't see martial law come down on us. I just see a way to make military tribunals more common place in our lexicon. Once folks get used to it prosecuting average criminals, then it will be easier to prosecute the bad actors and the commoners will shrug and think "so what".
This is also Q. And we’ve been waiting for the military to step in for 8 years now. I’m ok with this and I do think this will be temporary. If I’m wrong and at some point we need to fight them off then we’ll fight them off. Until then though, I like what I’m seeing so far.
Steven Vladeck, a law professor at Georgetown University, noted that in 1983, the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel said JAG lawyers could not serve as special assistant U.S. attorneys because it violated a statute barring military officers from exercising the duties of a civil office. But just a few months later, Congress authorized them to do so.
“If you want a job in the nation’s capital in the premier office, the largest U.S. attorney’s office, contact me,” she said earlier this month.
The drop in staff comes as Trump officials ousted prosecutors who worked on cases prosecuting rioters who stormed the Capitol in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021.
I did not catch this and I need to do some digging.
I find this to be equal parts intriguing and concerning. We know from Q that military tribunals are an important component to retaking the Republic. But I do not want common criminals being caught up in military justice. There's a thick line between those two things for a very good reason.
"Military is the only way."
“the only way is the military”
Sounds like JAG to me. Military tribunals might not be far fetched.
Sounds sort of like martial law.
how? just asking
Suspension of habeas corpus, same thing Lincoln did
This guy lays it out well in 22 minutes:

It’s an unusual role for military attorneys, who typically represent the armed forces, as well as soldiers in legal disputes.
and aid in prosecuting military offenders
Not if the perps are declared 'Enemy Combatants' 🤔 We'll see.

Kind of like….. military is theonly way ?

"I don't see martial law come down on us. I just see a way to make military tribunals more common place "
...that is an extremely fine distinction...
...in my book...
...military tribunals = martial law...
Agreed. So martial law under Trump will be temporary and for an actual good reason we all want. But yeah it’s martial law.
"So martial law under Trump will be temporary "
....remember, this is government...
...nothing is "temporary"...
...carry on Patriot...

Don't think its martial law. There are some differences between that and suspension of habeas corpus

Even though it's unusual, there is precedent for this without it being martial law. Kind of like using army engineers for a state bridge, except they are lawyers. "stormed"
Yeah let’s make it happen already, in all 50 states
Sounds like tribunals! Kek
How very interesting... almost like a habbing..
Kavanaugh hearing>Day 2>Sen Graham>9/11

Highly doubt it's for common criminals. It's for the mid and high level arrests
Judges won't handle the crime, so military it is.
We did.
I recall that JAG officers were going to be deputized as DoJ attorneys to handle the caseload from the WDC cleanup. So, no tribunals.
