it's a little more involved. you need to be in a good faith community that regularly walks in the power and authority given to us (by jesus) who are called to walk in the spirit (yep, thats you). most denominational church communities (catholic, lutheran, baptist etc...) will not teach this or walk in it (i've encountered some that dabble). there are some communities that go overboard (bethel redding) but there are a few that are pretty balanced (The Last Reformation- TLR, Torben Sondergaard). all communities are learning over time and getting better. check out videos Torben has on spiritual warfare on the TLR youtube, they're pretty good. there are others who have taught about it but they're dead now (Michael Heiser, Derek Prince), they have good information as well.
