I truly believe there are more sane than insane. We hit critical mass for many things I never dreamed of 10+ years ago. I try to just be patient for the climax. To live in these times is as much a curse as it is a blessing. We get to witness the retaking. This is thousands of years being set right in our time. As much as we all understand the gravity of the situation I can't help but feel an equal part excited.
A little nervousness is a good thing. I appreciate the sentiment, but given what's at stake and the forces we're fighting against, I can't be "cool as a cucumber".
Our President needs our support, we must get others to the voting booth and we must get involved in primaries when there's an opportunity to replace a crooked Republican with one that might actually further the President's agenda.
If the Dems can gain a majority in the midterms, it will be that much easier for them to get a Democrat in the White House in 2028. And God help us all if that happens.

And then you're ignoring that the largest percentage of people label themselves as moderates, but the majority of them vote with the democrats. Moderates make up ~40% of the population.
