I've been a registered Independent since leaving the Dems in the 1990s due to the Clintons. Never was a fan of the Bushes, but I thought the Dems were crazy hypocrites back then so I held my nose and voted R. Never felt the need to go Republican. Living in occupied Commiefornia, the primaries are not as important. Learned to appreciate Reagan and rolled my eyes at Hollywood RHINOS like Swarzenegger. Over the past 3 decades, I've become more conservative and hate what the leaders of both parties are pulling in DC. So I understand where Woods is coming from.
Made the same switch at the same time, but always voted 3rd party until I read John Podesta's emails in 2016. Then it was clear that Trump was our best chance at keeping the slimy pervert out of our State Dept.
2020 I think is understandable, no major Republicans speaking out against the mRNA shots, the election steal…
With 2024 Pres. DJT comeback, I think he is the Larry Bird of politics, of the presidency, and all prominent MAHA persons staying on board would be helpful, holding the line
hmm, I’m going to upvote because even though I don’t see him as a puppet, his beliefs would have him likely as an ally of Israel and not one who would understand the Epst. /Maxwell Israel -MI6 British connections
the Israeli deceptions are just as wrong and will be addressed
important question, just did extra research, so though he is not seen as MAGA, politically not ready to ditch the filibuster, he backs Pres. Trump on Save America /honest elections
a spiritual attack against him? he has voted pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, called an extremist by the left, not-doing-enough by MAGA challengers, it could be seen as spiritually challenging, will leave it open to other anons to assess it is attack level by the enemy
Is there no such thing as a MAGA independent? Even Trump was an independent and joined the republican party for his first Presidential run. Don’t you remember the drama lead up to this by the left?
I am a MAGA independent! We exist and most of us despise rinos- that's why I left
Sick of constant money begging with ZERO action. FYI- my state it doesn't matter re primaries
yes, maybe James Wood gathers MAGA independents and separates them from Rep. rinos. I still think that in primary season it would be best for James Wood to have stayed Republican for the primary season
Anons thoughts are definitely valid & and repected, good discussion thoughts
Agreeing with the sentiment, I just don’t think that J. Wood’s announcement is a good move..
Sen. Thune has allegiance to Israel through his religious beliefs, and probably has immense ties to lobbyist who pressure him, which = wrong wait for Thune to vote
You do not need to be a Republican to be a supporter of MAGA. He isn't wrong, the GOP has been infiltrated and compromised by liberals, communists, the cabal, and democrats.
The party that is most like the GOP used to be is the Constitution Party. That is a viable option for others that want a party and do not want to deal with retaking and restoring the GOP.
agreed, but him ditching during primary season does not look so good when based candidates need support in the Republican party? this is not the party of no name and the Bush family anymore, there are rinos that need to be defeated in primaries
also understandable as any “party” always might lead to actions taken on a member’s behalf contrary to one’s convictions — Bush family, no name, banker - backed republicans of the 18th &19th centuries
Hopefully he's smart enough to vote strategically in the General elections and not waste it on these little third parties. I get his sentiment. Republicans seem somtimes to be Uniparty, but thr best place to fix this is in Republican primary elections. It's not quick, but it is the quickest way.
I was done with the GOP 2years into W’s term. But I have been pro-MAGA almost from the beginning. I understand why POTUS used the GOP to push the MAGA movement and get the Patriot Team to dismantle the globalist tyranny, but I will not support the GOP unless they fully embrace MAGA.
Staying with either party is what's helped get us in this mess. The problem is that there's way too many people who do stay, so were forced to accept the lesser of two evils option.
Once the majority of the world figures out that the very notion of the political party system is flawed at the very foundations of the idea, the sooner we will have much better options to place our votes on.
Until then, we either choose to abstain (which is what I've chosen to do...for now) or continue voting for the lesser of two evils. Just remember, continuing to choose the latter option is continuing to vote for evil.
For the record, I'm not sure if Trump is evil or not. But it's clear to me that the overall governing body if the Republican party is just as evil as the Democratic Party's governing body is. The same with every other political party on the planet, and the only way out of this is for everyone to acknowledge that fact, so we can set about figuring out a way to fix that problem. We can't rely on these leaders to fix it for us. We, THE PEOPLE, must fix it ourselves.
principled, and well-written, if we are going from dark to light, then we will find out about President Trump sooner or later from this perspective wondering where we are going.
I am registered to the republican party. Idk if its changed in my state, but you can't vote in all elections if you weren't registered dem or repub. I wish starting a new party wasn't damn near impossible. I'd prefer to be registered as MAGA lol
I did it in 2020.

Immediately after J6 I became an unaffiliated voter. I am 100% MAGA.
2020 I think is understandable, no major Republicans speaking out against the mRNA shots, the election steal…

Wait... isnt Israel with us on this one?? Not sure muhJews plays well here..

my Persian friends disagree, and they are not friends of the Israeli government
I'm thinking this will help MAGA better understand the need to get RINOs the f*ck OUT of the Republican Party.
The base keeps voting them back in; that needs to stop.
yeah, I don’t like the Jameswood announcement. I would have to admit that he’s a Maga guy and your point is valid..
i’m thinking this is an un-MAGA & not so bright move by James Woods https://nitter.poast.org/RealJamesWoods/status/2029970608898101267#m
I’m thinking it’s a scripted psyop.
Or that you’re right, but mostly that it’s a psyop. What could the point be?
interesting sigh, up possibility, or strategy possibility
other anons in this thread indicate we’ve got to put a spotlight on these RINOs, maybe this could somehow MAGA people out to vote for primaries? Texas runoff between Sen. Cornyn and Paxton May 26. https://www.texastribune.org/2026/03/03/john-cornyn-ken-paxton-wesley-hunt-runoff-primary-texas-senate-republican/
fortunately,, MAG candidate likely committed adultery and is being sued for divorce
DEAR CHRISTIANS, DO YOU SEE SATAN ATTACKING JOHN CORNYN?

somebody downvoted your valid question, oh well, I would upvote a second time if I could
Kek they happen.
TBH is the kind of thing people who know nothing about US civics do...
These clueless folks show up to at the primary election every year and don't understand why their ballots have no candidates.
Depends on the state. In many states you can vote in any primary. Used to be that way in Cali, not totally sure if that's still the case.
Is there no such thing as a MAGA independent? Even Trump was an independent and joined the republican party for his first Presidential run. Don’t you remember the drama lead up to this by the left?

Not only that, but to vote to not release the sexual harassment payouts just pisses me off.

Agreed, yet POTUS seems like he still endorses some of them, even though they are full RINO.
compromise in politics is troublesome at times, not ideal
You know, registering as any "party" never sat well with me.
George Washington’s intent 👍
also understandable as any “party” always might lead to actions taken on a member’s behalf contrary to one’s convictions — Bush family, no name, banker - backed republicans of the 18th &19th centuries
Part of the great divide.
We should rename both parties. We can call one The Bribed, and the other we can call The Blackmailed.
Some politicians will have hell deciding which one they should be in.
We can still have a Independents made up of honest politicians, but that group is going to be very tiny.
Hopefully he's smart enough to vote strategically in the General elections and not waste it on these little third parties. I get his sentiment. Republicans seem somtimes to be Uniparty, but thr best place to fix this is in Republican primary elections. It's not quick, but it is the quickest way.
the sound plan! if I remember correctly, 32 of 32 Trump backed candidates won House primary races
Hopefully this starts the final understanding by notices that we have an Uniparty.

principled👍
and the Middle East war of GHWB,and the Federal Reserve issue + 911 or a few of the reasons I understand people moved away from the GOP.
no name another reason
I don't feel like he left MAGA....
I agree with you, I am not sure about his strategy, but good comments from you and other Anons!

Let him. It's the left that demands rigid dogmatic obedience. I mean, he's an asshole, but at least he's a principled asshole.
MAGA and Republicans are not compatible.
