Can we stop playing the wishy washy future game. Immerse your self in President Trump’s term! Everything he does is so damn awesome and FLOTUS! Just enjoy it. Don’t dick around day dreaming.
Look, everyone starts positioning themselves two years in advance. This isn’t new territory. 3rd term trump is a pipe dream even though we all know he was cheated out of his first second term.
Honestly would rather see Trump retire in 2028, maybe an appointment to oversee reconstruction of federal landmarks or buildings. I would not want to answer a real poll until after mid terms to see how Vance does in 2nd half of Pres. Trump's term. If I were to have to decide today - I lean towards Rubio.
I think Rubio is doing a good job working under PDJT but I don't want him as president as I've seen him on the debate stage when PDJT was running the 1st time. No thanks. Probably JD, at this time.
The definition of 'natural born citizen' found in documents and discussions during the time of the Constitution's writing is very simple. 3/3 are necessary. Anything missing represents a connection with a foreign country, which should never be allowed to touch the presidency.
Born in the nation
American mother
American father
Rubio can be Secretary of State, but he should never be president.
His parents were permanent residents, but not citizens yet. Natural born means two citizen parents or at least the father is a citizen. His citizenship can be conveyed to his wife for the purpose of natural born. (That is how Trump’s kids are eligible.). But congress could expand the definition of Natural Born. Yes I know that neither Obama nor Harris were eligible and the democrats got away with it. What’s new. It does make a way to nullify Obama’s presidency on top of the fact that he wasn’t even a citizen.
Nullity: "Something that is null, especially an act having no legal validity."
I was going to say, yes, 0 is a nullity! But it turns out "Nullity is defined as the value of 0/0, which is considered a fixed number, while 0 itself is simply a number representing nothing."
So divide 0 by 0 and get a nullity, or just accept that 0 represents nothing and having no legal validity. HA! Q.E.D.
What you state is true. Here are the rest of the details. Marco Rubio's parents were not U.S. citizens when he was born. They were Cuban immigrants who immigrated to the United States in 1956. At the time of his birth in Miami in 1971, his parents were legal permanent residents, and they did not officially become naturalized U.S. citizens until 1975.
I think if SCOTUS rules that the 14th amendment means that only children born to at least one legal US citizen adult is recognized as a citizen, Rubio will not be eligible to be potus or VP.
Ahh, Obama, yeah that’s a big ole can of worms just ripe for popping. Here ya go:
Barack Obama’s mother did not meet the physical presence requirement to automatically pass on citizenship to a child born abroad.Because she did not meet the requirement, ** the fact that Barack Obama was physically born in Hawaii was legally necessary for him to inherit U.S. citizenship at birth.**
The Math of Her Physical Presence:
Under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 rules in effect when Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961, a U.S. citizen married to a non-citizen (his father was a Kenyan national) had to meet specific criteria to pass on citizenship to a child born outside the United States:
The Law Then: The parent had to be physically present in the U.S. for at least 10 years, at least 5 of which had to be after the age of 14.
Her Age: Ann Dunham was born on November 29, 1942. She was 18 years and 8 months old when she gave birth.
The Shortfall: Because she was only 18, it was mathematically impossible for her to have spent 5 years in the United States after turning 14. She would have needed to be at least 19 years old to meet the standard.
Why He Is a Citizen:
Because his mother could not pass down citizenship by blood (jus sanguinis) under the laws of that era, Barack Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen" relied entirely on being born on U.S. soil (jus soli).Official records, including his long-form birth certificate released by the Hawaii Department of Health, confirm he was born at Kapiʻolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, two years after Hawaii became the 50th U.S. state.
And now we know why he has a dead man’s social security number.
Think I'm ridin' with Rubio as of right now. [If I'm required to pick from just the list] I guess I'm just an asshole, too, but the citizenship thing isn't so bothersome to me. ~shrugs~
Interesting, no one threw ol' Gabbie a bone! Think I'd be comfortable with a VP spot for her, depending.
But of course the most realistic and likely outcome is Trump serving an "unprecedented" 3rd term (FDR, anyone?!?) after the rigged and stolen election of 2020 is fully unearthed once again and MAJOR LEGAL BELT-TO-ASS PROCEEDINGS get underway, leaving the bullshiters in the media no choice but to re-litigate the issue in the court of public opinion once more.
Tie in your relevant Biden and J6 investigations and apply the golden rule: All Roads Lead to Russiagate
And then I think via overwhelming popular opinion and possibly measures taken by SCOTUS or drafted in Congress if necessary, and Trump is permitted to try for a 3rd term - and WIN BIGLY yet again.
And lets face it: even with the latest cycle of death spiraling for the RINO types, and assuming a remarkable and unprecedented midterm election where Republicans hold both Houses of Congress and perhaps even GAIN seats....
It still won't be enough to FINALIZE and FULFILL the complete Trump agenda by 2028. Even if the Senate had MAGA leadership comparable to the House, we can only expect so much to flow through within the given time frame.
We're potentially wrestling with a major restructuring of the U.S. financial system from the way it has existed for the last century. Major changes to Federal Reserve may be coming under Warsh. Dealing with the incredible variety of (at the least) licentious if not (outright) illegal transfer payments that have ballooned behind the curtain of our Federal imprimatur is also absolutely vital. We have to winnow all of that down to zero for numerous reasons.
The obvious goals of turning Federal defecits to surplus and reducing the Federal debt load are low hanging fruit. More complex goals such as reducing wealth inequality will take both creativity to discover if its best accomplished via changes to rules around equity ownership, tax code, or other measures.
But the real difficulty is in finding and capturing the needed political will to drive meaningful and lasting change. The set of domestic issues we are championing have NOT been on the radar of Washington politics in at least a generation. This is more low-grade than when Trump was bringing up NAFTA in 2016; simply put, NO ONE THERE had given that so much as a thought in at least several decades.
Populating the Congress with like-minded types willing to carry water OR bend to the ones who are is a monumental task - and as long as just a few rats keep surviving in the swamp, or make it in undetected with the new group of hopefuls, there will be significant headwinds while trying to get it done. I'm reminded of a Mike Benz discussion about defunding NED and IRI - nearly impossible and JUST bringing it to a vote during Trump's administration was a miracle. Check that out here if you like.
Going back to my line about the Federal "imprimatur" - there is a longer-term consequence hanging above the United States like the sword of Damocles, and Trump has been desperately trying to turn it back since he was re-elected in 2024.
The first big signal was probably the GFC - although much more to do with the policy response than the event itself. A decade of slow growth for U.S. GDP driven chiefly by monetary policy caused investor confidence to wane internationally. Then Biden blew the lid off of it with the COVID response, maxing the ratios out and getting a downgrade to U.S. debt via a (cabal-controlled?) credit rating agency.
But business confidence isn't the only thing that suffers when your legacy of fraudulent behavior, reckless risk taking and double dealing comes to light. There's a human cost as well - and that frustration became a "tea party" and eventually the roots of MAGA - the everyday people who were thoughtlessly flushed away by their betters in government and corporate boardrooms.
The despair and enmity has drawn itself to an all time high. BRICS is real, our downfall approaches - why?
Our symbols that once announced unquestionable integrity are a laughingstock and synonymous with treachery in the present. Inside my lifetime, institutional trust has bottomed out and then bottomed again.
We can't be like Europe and Trump understands this innately. The U.K. and the others have fundamentally BROKEN the social contract with their people. The pensions were promised but when they don't come on time, you LITERALLY have old folks freezing to death in their tiny efficiencies.
The USA has ALWAYS been a beacon of truth and it will take time to restore trust in our country. It starts with the leadership and I don't truly trust ANYONE but Trump to advance the right causes to repair the broken relationship our citizens have with the government while projecting stability and a return to the better times of technological and economic growth to the international community.
JD and Marco as VP
Marco w JD as VP
I’m with ArmyLady on this one right now.. But there’s still along time to decide. We have to hold it until Barron is ready.
JD Vance.
And Jeb Bush?! Are you kidding?
Rubio
He is not a natural born citizen. His parents were cuban ,so he's not qualified.
Obama wasn’t either.
That doesn't make it correct
There is a lot of gray area here on what is a natural born american, I would love to vote for him myself, maybe the supreme court will clarify it.
Can we stop playing the wishy washy future game. Immerse your self in President Trump’s term! Everything he does is so damn awesome and FLOTUS! Just enjoy it. Don’t dick around day dreaming.

Rubio.
My preference: JD as President, Rubio as VP
Jeb = NOT an Option
Rubio.
Vance for 8 years and then maybe Rubio.
Probably Rubio
But I really like Paxton. I think he's legitimate presidential material.
Vance
Jesse Ventura/ Ted Nugent
Definitely not on Don Jr. and Jeb Bush.
Vance
Ted Cruz - Texas Senator. Maybe Ron Desantis Gov. of Florida.
I think Rubio is doing a good job working under PDJT but I don't want him as president as I've seen him on the debate stage when PDJT was running the 1st time. No thanks. Probably JD, at this time.
Marco is technically not eligible, since he is not a naturally born citizen. But a law could be passed to accommodate him.
So Vance, then Marco, then Trump jr Tulsi is in the mix as VP or State Department.
"Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida, in 1971."

Never happened.
Like he was never here. Paraphrasing Trump.

yes dead giveaway . . . pun intended
2
Rubio
J.D. Vance
1-3 are really strong contenders for me. I’d love to see a ticket with at least JD and Marco. Those are my top bets.

All to say Trump 28 LFG!
Godspeed all.
