Iran’s president offers resignation, citing total takeover by IRGC commanders
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has submitted an official letter of resignation to the Office of the Supreme Leader, a source familiar with the matter told Iran International.
The critical node is being isolated. The IRCG has couped the country. The convential military needs to stand up and take them out. Or a coalition of ARAB states needs to invade and take down the RG the deep states arm. As long as we control the gulf iran can not do much but spend their inventory for time. The more time that passes the worst it becomes for them.
Or we can arm the people and they can Slaughter the clowns
I think we sent weapons to them and the Kurds were supposed to deliver but they decided to keep them for themselves. If the Kurds had delivered as they said, we would have given them more weapons than they could have imagined!
They can't. Their weapons are deliberately kept away from them in guarded bunkers and only allowed to be given to them by the IRGC, and the IRGC will not allow them to have them at a time like this.
Well, the entire RG can't all hide in bunkers all the time (which is what their leaders are doing). It should be open-season on all RG units and equipment, until their leaders have nobody left to lead. However, this risks creating the mother of all power vacuums, which we do not want to get pulled into.
We want the Iranian people to get pulled into it. Stand up and handle business so they can have a future.
Smart way to survive if you think the US is close to winning don’t ya think?
Heard Tom Luongo suggest the reason for the RINOs delaying everything in the senate is they're waiting to see what happens with Iran.
He thinks RINOs are hoping this Iran thing goes sideways, like a bad deal or prolonged war, basically any reason where a chink in the MAGA base armor forms, so the RINOs can take that opportunity to help dems impeachment Trump. He also thinks Trump knows this, so is playing this thing the way he is because of it.
Very interdasting
Iranian civilian gov't was split and devolved out from under the IRGC and Ayatollah to the 31 provinces in August of 2025. There were some articles on this from Aug-Sep of 2025 that have all now been removed from the internet. President may be resigning to avoid being target or to GET OUT of Tehran area, temporarily. There are likely some nasty things underway by the remaining IRGC factions that he does not want to get blamed for. There is some evidence that the Ayatollah died in 2024 and his position was vacant until at least September of 2025.
Regular Iranian army is likely at war with or has subdued the provincial IRGC units in most of the provinces except for the Tehran area. IRGC centralized authority is gone (decapitation strikes), and IRGC and Ayatollah proxies likely now only control Tehran area.
Unlikely. For years, the Artesh (regular Iranian army) has had limited access to their weapons, which are only given to them at times when the IRGC feels they can be trusted with them. At all other times, they're kept in secure bunkers where the Artesh can't get them. It's a system deliberately devised to make sure that the Artesh can never stand up to the IRGC.
Excellent assessment TY
It would be, but it seems the resignation did not happen.

"President Masoud Pezeshkian has not resigned and continues to carry out his duties, IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported, citing an informed government source, denying an Iran International report that he had sought to step down."
Ugh. We are only as good as the information we get. The assessment was good the information it was built on wasn’t. They are very good at obscuring information gotta give them that.
Tru dat. And, we have no way of knowing if this is real or not. There is a lot of disinformation and other stuff, all part of the warfare. Contradictory information is all over the place since Iran started.
What we can identify are the narratives being created and spun. They are what tells us what the different players are doing, if we can identify the source of the stories. This can help reveal the maneuvering.
IT's telling that Trump has been dropping contradictions all over the place, deliberately (obviously). Like, the war was won in the first week, the next few weeks, about to wrap up, in negotiations, very close to a deal, etc.
Because he's doing this, the real parties behind the Iranian regime (like the British Banking Cabal, etc) don't know what is happening, and that gives Trump all the advantage.
What I do know is gas ain't getting any cheaper. Even when the war is over big oil ain't gonna lower prices. Everyone is still paying.

I think Muslims have a different view. They’d rather die.
Hmm, Check this out - in how many other countries this is gonna be the case?
The Islamic Republic's president has never had any real power. Same is true for members of the Parliament. The head of the Parliament, Ghalibaf, is a little more connected because his background is IRGC - but he as well must knuckle under to the IRGC. Pezeshkian, like all other previous Islamic Republic presidents, is simply a figurehead and does not have any substantial say in government or foreign policy. He is basically in charge national operations like street sweeping. So his resignation in essence is pretty meaningless. The Foreign Minister, Araghchi, is the same. They are just the face presented to the world to appear more "reasonable," but they do not make decisions. They often act as scapegoats for the real power in the Islamic Republic when they need red meat to throw to the public supporters of the Islamic Revolution. They are well payed lapdogs and lackeys.
Pezeshkian is right in that the IRGC is in control. The ceasefire allowed them to consolidate power. Ali Khamenei had acted as a buffer between the IRGC and the rest of government and the mullahs. With him out of the equation, the IRGC has maneuvered into the sole position of power within the Islamic Republic - simply because they possess the guns and have operational control of a large portion of the infrastructure. The mullahs and those in the government have been sidelined. The Speaker of the Parliament, Ghalibaf, may be a bit more pragmatic, but he is deeply tied to the grift money generated from IRGC infrastructure and terrorist corruption. These guys may not be as durka as the Islamist hardliners, but they are just as bad and are guilty of oppressing the Iranian people and terrorizing the rest of the world. There is nothing "moderate" about any of them.
Listen to Tousi on youtube if you want the truth coming out of Iran
Also the Liberty Politics YouTube channel, from Iranian anti-regime activist Armin Navabi, who has access to a lot of rare information from inside Iran.
" the president and the government have effectively been excluded from major and vital decision-making processes in the country, and that the vacuum created by this situation has enabled hardline factions within the IRGC to take control of affairs,"
So is it up to their Army?
The president and the government never had any real decision making power. They were just a face to make the Islamic Republic appear like somewhat of a functioning nation state. They are just as corrupt and evil as the rest of the regime. In reality, power always flowed from the supreme leader and the mullahs. With the supreme leader removed, along with some of the mullahs, that left the vacuum that the IRGC was quickly able to fill because they were always part of the regime power structure from the beginning. They have the guns and control a large majority of the nationalized infrastructure that they drain for personal gain and to fund proxies and terror. The "government" controlled almost nothing. The surviving mullahs were sidelined by the IRGC and forced to approve Ali's invisible son, the cardboard ayatollah, as supreme leader to give the appearance of legitimacy. Whether he is dead or alive at this point, doesn't really matter.
The IRGC was built to protect the regime - themselves. They always have been the muscle of the regime and its operational arm in projecting power and expanding the Islamic Revolution. Without Ali there to keep them on a leash, they stepped into that vacuum left by the death of Ali and the mullahs and seized control.
The Artesh, the national army, was always deliberately underfunded and minimally supplied so they would not be a challenge to the IRGC or the regime. They have been kept out of the regime loop. As conscripts, they were also less likely to turn their guns on the Iranian people. That is why the regime uses foreign proxies and their Basij forces to suppress the people.
How many Artesh still remain at their posts is hard to say. Some deserted or defected. Very few are actually getting paid. If they can be armed, many would stand with the people. However, there are pockets of regime loyal Artesh at key posts in the country that are mixed with IRGC. The regime tries to make sure at least they are paid. But with revenues quickly crumbling, that may become harder to pull off by the regime as the blockade continues.
"The Artesh, the national army, was always deliberately underfunded and minimally supplied so they would not be a challenge to the IRGC or the regime. They have been kept out of the regime loop. As conscripts, they were also less likely to turn their guns on the Iranian people."
It is clearly an illegal governance by the IRGC and the mullahs. The actual government with whom we should be negotiating is stating -- that it is now ineffectual. With its legitimate Army.
The IRGC is now clearly before the world an illegitimate power without the support of ITS OWN GOVERNMENT!
YEAH! An illegitimate power without the consent of its own government or its own people! What comes next??
Logically, a restoration of the actual government. I would not call that a coup. But a destruction of the revolutionaries who have no legitimate authority.
Is this when the Shah's son comes in with the official Army? or does the IRGC need to be further degraded? And of course we can do that.
From a legal standpoint, the legitimate government of Iran (using the term loosely) has been overthrown by pirates---who are willing to command, but not to govern. What does that mean? It means they do not care about relationships with other nations, only with power inside their own nation. And making imperious demands against their neighbors. They have de facto closed the door on negotiation, because---with them---there is no negotiation. The bomb-loving homicidal maniacs are fully in charge.
In retrospect, this was probably the only possible outcome. What led to this point was water floating on oil, inherently unstable. But it certainly clarifies to the world that Trump did everything humanly possible to attain a diplomatic closure to the situation. Now, force majeure is the only path remaining.
The force to reclaim the nation should come from the remnants of the legitimate government, and its Army, and its people! The IRGC is illegitimate, it is mostly leaderless, functioning independently of any coordinated nation state. We need to take more of them out, and the people have been telling us where they are.
We have been most prudent and most patient, but I have always thought the resistance has been in the back-channel.
It reminds me of the fall of Germany in World War II: the Fuhrer is dead and anyone else either doesn't really have the authority, doesn't know what to do with it, or is fleeing for their life. When a government collapses, there really isn't a government at all. An occupation force needs to set up a regime to provide order while the citizens compose a new government (or one is set up for them, with a constitutional convention and elections as the first order of business). Something like what happened with Japan.
When the Ottoman Empire had been defeated in World War I, T.E. Lawrence helped to lead the Arab tribes to Damascus to convene and form government in the middle east. Their lack of vision, tribal rivalries, and failure to agree made the conclave a futile disaster, and my impression is that it left Lawrence with a profound sense of failure.
Just saw video today out of Iran from members of the Artesh. They are working with the Immortal Guard and are preparing for when the Crown Prince gives them the order to act. When they come out, they will be joined by other citizens who are more activist. So, they are getting ready. Till the Crown Prince gives the order, we are all waiting. The Crown Prince will not return to Iran until the regime is overthrown and it is safe for him to return.
I have been hoping that!
So have we all sister.
I follow closely events on the ground in Iran and in the diaspora community. This is coming from several well connected Iranians that know quickly what is taking place. I can tell you that what appears on the surface is a far cry from what is being planned and what is actually occuring. It is huge.
Even since yesterday things are changing rapidly. For example, it is appearing that the IRGC does not have as firm a grip on control as they tried to portray. Yes, they have money and guns, but loyalist public support is not in their hands. They have been trying to orchestrate a military coup of the government, but those plans are hitting some major roadblocks. At the moment, there appears to be 3 power blocks in the mix. None of them are acceptable to the Iranian people. So let them exhaust and destroy themselves fighting with each other over who rules Iran. Don Tzu knows what he is doing - defeat your enemy without engaging in battle.
Meanwhile, Trump keeps the pressure on by not taking the IRGC's bait to draw the US and Israel back into all out kinetic action. This is not what the regime wants. The regime is fractured and eating itself. So sit back and watch the show. Trump and his team are masters of strategic ambiguity.
I won't go into the details of what is being planned because it is very involved. But be assured, there are major happenings between Trump, Pahlavi, and some other nation states that cannot be broadcast publicly on the record for obvious more global reasons of diplomatic cover and aspects operational security. Just know there are things taking place and things are being planned - especially in regards to arming the Iranian people. And it will not be paid for by American taxpayers.
Continue to pray that God's hand guides all involved and that things unfold in a way that brings good outcome, not only for the people of Iran, but for all of us.
AMEN!
I second that. I thought of you when I heard a lot of this late last night. Be blessed.
Well what is left of it. Methinks they are on a circular drain going down fast.
Meh, he was just a figurehead anyway.
Bomb them into extinction.
The IRGC are religious fanatics. They will lie, cheat, steal and murder to stay on power TO THE LAST MAN. I can only liken them to the Japanese Samurai that worshiped the Emperor. You cannot deal with these people. Islam has the power of Satan behind it and he doesn't care how many die for the "cause". He actually laughs at all the deaths. It is a mentality that should be eradicated but that will only happen when the people of Iran and all free thinking people in that region put a stop to it.
If you read the Koran and read the part of an archangel revealing himself to Muhammad, it drops a lot of hints that it was Satan in disguise.
Satan appears as an angel of light. The same angel that appeared to Joseph Smith of the Mormon faith.
Gal_1:8 But though we, or an** ANGEL** from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Iran's president offers his resignation to... who exactly?
Is it to the Gay Ayatollah that is missing a leg and is severely wounded and laying in a coma in the hospital? Or is there someone else in charge?
What does “President” there even mean? We’ve taken out the so-called “top guy” so many times already—how do they decide who their president even is?
By electing him.
You really are a special kind of clueless aren't you troll.
It's called selecting, not electing.
Go back to bluesky bitch...
Discover where the IRGC is and send them straight to hades.
They're all over the place. There's a bunch of them all over Iran. It's kind of like asking where all the police are here in America.
I got the impression he was just a figurehead with no real power anyway. The IRGC would never have allowed otherwise.
