I tend to read all the comments on a lot of posts, because there’s a lot of good info in the comments a lot of times, and it’s where I do a lot of my digging from. After making these comments, I double checked your comment history to be sure I wasn’t off the rails with what I was saying, and pages of it were almost entirely negative and emoting.
If I thought your efforts as a whole were bad or counterproductive, I would be clicking deport or something. Instead, I was simply trying to point out that pure emoting in comments is not productive, and can be counterproductive, toward solutions where we agree on the problems, such as getting rid of the scumbag this thread is referencing (or much more importantly, the funding and power base behind her).
To date, I’m useless on those solutions afaik, so don’t take these comments as a sign I think I’m better. We do have some people here who are quite effective at them, and the rest of us should be learning to do those things, or at least working to supply information for the ones who can, rather than emoting.
