Gender is a social construct, but it's a construct based entirely on biological sex and thousands of years of tradition. The radical left highjacked the term. The original anthropological concept of gender just meant to distinguish how gender roles differed from culture to culture. For example, what it meant to be a man or woman in ancient Sparta is quite different than what it means in modern America.

And majority Christian. White and blacks have been living and working side by side there for decades at this point. So everybody knows lots of people of the other race.
