Oklahoma has their "Homeschooling Capitol Day" tomorrow, Feb 6, 2024. Beginning of the session, and horrible legislation has been introduced. If in Oklahoma, show up to listen and visit with your legislators.
Main problem in OK, is they created a "Tax Credit" for not using the government school system, now everyone is putting the strings on the tax dollars....as expected.
Rep Swope has a 30+ page bill, ending with DHS home inspections every 6 months as well as background checks for ANYONE that is in contact with a homeschooler.....no other OK children, just those that are homeschooled.
The level on intelligence and articulation in this "random" sample of people is astounding. I am not hopeful, in the U. S., especially on a "university" campus, to find that number of people that could converse so eloquently, let alone on the topic of political parties in a foreign country.
It seems there has to be some willful negligence on the agencies involved.
There is a portrayal of constant and diligent training. Reality of the times would alter the checklist to include verifying the address and verifying the situation.
I guess until one of them ends up being a full blown setup, the po-po will keep kicking doors in with impunity.
Make sure you are resting.
We are homeschooling four, 19 Yo will have his bachelors in April. There was a lot of dirt in his first 6 years, no preschool.
Follow your heart.
If the business requires vaccinations, they do not share your beliefs. It is nice for them to tell you up front that they are smarter than you, sit down, shut up.
Challenge here, not picking at you, but make sure it is not really pressure to "give her every opportunity" so she can "go to harvard" and be a "powerful" woman in DC/NYC/..... The society portrayed on TV, movies, and social media has not been my families target. I am definitely a let kids be kids person.
I wish you and your family the best!
In eternity, put a spot on your calendar for me! I don't want this to be a distraction here on earth. I understood that was outlined by the law God handed down to Moses and the ripping of ones garments was a cultural display of grief. Regardless, veil torn, access granted :), Have a great Saturday!
The veil in the Temple being torn, as a reaction to Father God's grief for the separation from His Son, can also be seen as a completion of the Old Testament ritual of only one priest being allowed in, once a year, to the New Covenant allowing all that are covered by the blood of the sinless sacrifice access.
Dots.....coming...closer..to.gether
“You find out who I am very soon,” “If you are smart enough you will know who I am. But you really aren’t smart enough to know who I am. But soon you’re gonna know who I am. Very soon." Movsum Smadov (Illegal that threaten journalist near Sasabe, Arizona around Jan 21, 2024)
President Trump..."There is now a 100% chance that there will be MAJOR TERROR ATTACKS in the USA. CLOSE THE BORDER!"
To me, the "But you really aren't smart enough..." sounds like it was written by President Trump.
Forgiveness is only applicable if they REPENT, not apologize, turn around. Best parallel I have is Saul killing followers of Jesus. Saul repented, was forgiven....not very easily trusted by the church, but forgiven by Jesus.
I'll have to walk this out when it presents itself, but human side is absolutely NO, it will be all turning my face to Christ and remembering I did far worse to Him.
Absolutely, card carrying member and info by the door to recite through the door to any "guest".
