Knowing that modern peoples' minds are so distracted with technology and having calcified third eyes, I would think that ancient people probably had a better connection to God and likely a better understanding of God's capabilities and intentions. Beyond that, how much of the original book has been revised and misinterpreted by theologians (and other powerful men) ruminating on its contents? For whatever reason, the aphorism, "Idle hands are the Devil's work" just floated into my mind as I was typing. This is a idea that's long overdue. When I have too many wasps in my backyard, I find out where the nest is and eradicate it. In this case, we know where the nest is and we have the resources to do the job right.

Frankly, I don't understand why we don't make an ally of Russia. Great Britain's empire is done (our #1 "ally") and Russia espouses all the values that America used to. Who would stand against the 2 greatest countries on earth, militarily speaking? Not China, not pantywaist EU. Think of the energy dominance alone, and Russia has so many other natural resources. Not to mention some damn fine-looking ladies (no offense to our MAGA gals.)
