My two cents worth..it would make more sense to me to pay the tax and then file a claim in the Courts for refund on the basis of the various theories discussed herein ie
- The 16th amendment was not properly ratified.
- It is unlawful to tax wages.
- Only Corporations are subject to tax so an and so forth. At least this avoids the trap many find by not paying and then are jailed. I believe that there are many novel legal arguments upon which one may prevail particularly if appealed all the way to the Supreme Court.
What can be done to correct this travesty?

I think the country would be better off improving Voter IQ than Voter ID.
Why wouldn't there be easy proof of a hijacked plane. Wouldn't the FAA know if all planes came home or not?

A national "sales tax" would:
- Encourage savings - tax only applies when spent.
- Most States already have a sales tax and have already implemented exemptions for necessities -ie food.
- Lots of lobbyist would be out of business because - not much special interest involved
- IRS & Tax lawyers, accountants also out of business OR likely change careers to be more productive for economy
- Makes it more difficult to cheat. The so-called underground economy not paying would be captured.
It makes too much sense for Politicians to implement. If they actually solve problems, then their donor money gravy train ceases.
