If you stop the video at exactly 17 seconds you can see the missile in one or two frames before it slams into the Pentagon and explodes. Definitely NOT and airplane. There's that number 17 again.
Yeah but didn't you know that the FAA has a protocol if an airplane gets hijacked they push a button and the wings detach along with the tail? They do this in order to streamline the fusilage so it can land safely. The reason you do not see engines, or wings, or windows is before 2001, before the hijackings we had technology, same technology we use to have that got us to the Moon, but we lost it all somehow, and now we're stuck with planes that don't have detachable engines and wings for safety.
The real tragedy in all of this is people don't realize that we used to be able to utilize those technologies but Osama BinLaden and Saddam both conspired to steal those technologies and create weapons of mass destruction. You may have heard of those weapons, their abbreviations are FOX, NRA, and KKK. There are some extraordinary pilots, but I don't think that a terrorist that took some flying lessons is going to be able to essentially fly a Boeing 757 at ground level without crashing first before hitting the Pentagon.
Before I even questioned 911 I was having a hard time understanding how guys who took a few flying lessons were able to do what they supposedly did with pin point accuracy.
You should see the 3-d model someone made of the actual flight path this 'plane' supposedly took - it's insane and even flight instructors were saying they probably couldn't do it in a simulator.

From my perspective, the object at 17 seconds was large, flying straight and level a few feet off of the ground until impact. Certainly not the characteristics of a giant aircraft being piloted by a terrorist with limited training...

None of the experienced pilots who went into a simulator and tried to hit the twin towers could do it. In the case of the pentagon, this is an even smaller target. There is no way a terrorist with minimal training plowed an airliner into the Pentagon. Zero chance. Didn't happen.
I'm sorry, but experienced pilots land dead center on runways the same width as the twin towers every day of the week to make a living. They can easily fly a plane into the towers, and they can easily hit the Pentagon, too. If they couldn't, planes would crash so often that no one would ever fly.
Maybe not, but every commercial pilot on earth could easily hit any building they want to, and any moderately trained pilot too. I bet most kids who've played fairly realistic flight simulators could do it.

People definitely died. One of my close friends was dut to be at a meeting at the WTC on 911 but had a dentist appt or something. Many of his coworkers died in the towers

There would be people who witnessed people boarding the plane, people who records would indicate ceased existing after that. I really think it is easier just hijack a plane and crash it than to try to fake the whole thing. There are plenty of radical Muslims who they could have found to do it.

What on Earth would you expect to see? The camera is obviously taking images at perhaps 1 frame per second. The 757 was traveling at 530 mph (777 feet per second) and was 155 feet long. It would travel its own length (about the span of the image) in 0.2 second. You would have to be very lucky to get even one frame of the whole airplane.
No problem, however. There were plenty of people who saw the plane pass overhead, its wing cutting off traffic light standards. This includes a pilot who saw it from overhead. And air traffic control radar tracking it from departure to hijack to turnaround to Pentagon.
There was no missile. The glimpse in frame 17 was more likely sunlight glinting off the polished aluminum fuselage (American Airlines practice), or the livery stripe of red, white, and blue. Also, the lower image is more distant than the supposed upper image, so the visible sizes do not correspond correctly.

You have no evidence or proof than any videos were tampered with or fabricated. End of story. In formal logic, it is impossible to prove a negative ("Who's to say they didn't..."). You can only prove positive statements. You do that with evidence. Just because you can ask a question does not mean you have a disproof. It only means you don't know the answer.

From the perspective, it appears to me to be a relatively large object. People saying it is a cruise missile may not realize the scale. If it's a missile, it is comparable in size to an ICBM. Maybe it's me that is misunderstanding the scale, but to me it is most likely a plane. The strangest part is not the missing plane, I can understand a hollow tin can disintegrating upon impact at 500 mph, what I cannot understand is the missing enormous fire. I saw an explosion, but no massive fire. It should have been a huge fire, burning for 30 minutes at least, like the Twin Towers did. As well, all that fuel would have been in the wings, so it should have smashed into the areas to the sides of the main impact and set those places totally on fire, instead it was just a big explosion then nothing. You could explain that away saying, oh, it's like a fuel-air bomb, so it just all went up in one big explosion, but fuel air bombs intentionally spread the fuel out first before igniting it, because if you don't then there isn't enough oxygen to burn all the fuel. The fire at the Pentagon should have looked very similar to the fires at the Twin Towers, it should have taken firefighters hours of fighting to put them out.
