Depending on the age you marry at sometimes it better to keep your surname as you would have to change every ID etc. over to the new name. Doctor marrying a non-doctor would keep their surname for their practice in most cases as well.

I work in surgery and before covid happened we didnt wear masks unless we were in an operating room. I usually stay in our department for most of the day so I don’t wear one cause Im no sheep like the rest of these people. First day I come back to Full Time not even there for 10 minutes one co worker asks me in a nasty attitude to go put a mask on. Didn’t go put it on cause she aint my boss.
Later in the day my manager comes over to me and says I need to put a mask on immediately cause I got a complaint from HR for not wearing one.
