Wouldn't a drought stunt growth and delay a harvest, though?

Does a drought make things grow quicker?

It was in response to the OP's ludicrous claim that "everyone is acting, everything is fine, everything is under complete control".

Obviously, everyone is not acting, everything is not fine, and everything is not under complete control.

Either we're being conned about extremely important issues like child sex trafficking (which would be really fucked up for White Hats to fake) or the OP is simply wrong.

In my personal opinion, the OP is wrong.

He's not talking to us. But don't worry. Just kick back, make some popcorn, and enjoy the show. Especially the child sex trafficking.

Let's just hope that the actors being paid for that aren't into method acting.

So....is all the stuff with child sex trafficking part of the show, too? All those kids are actors? The White Hats, who are in control, are orchestrating all that for our entertainment?

Well, fuck me. Thanks for letting me know all this is under control and I don't have to worry about it anymore.

People do all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify their beliefs.

Imagine if some liberal somewhere had this as a logo for their business. Most people here would be running to get their torches and pitchforks to go break down their door and save all the enslaved children they must have in the basement.

But it's Elon, and he trolls libs sometimes, so... 🙄

Um, so you're saying Hitler's "pink brigade", composed of homosexuals, reproduced. And that's why today's LGBTQ are fascists?

🤔 😂

The Washington Post is my local paper. I haven't noticed it criticizing him about much of anything. The closest I can think is an opinion article about him being too old to run again. But they say the same thing about Trump, since he's only 3 or 4 years younger than Biden.

Here are some recent Washington Post articles about Biden:

Biden earned another term despite ageist calls for him to step aside

As Biden backs striking autoworkers, Trump attacks union leader

GOP congressman Ken Buck denounces Biden impeachment inquiry ...

So, yeah, I don't really see them "criticizing" him that much.

Well, damn. I bet you just ruined several peoples weekends. Nothing like getting your mad on, and getting your blood pumping while railing against the world online.

What does it matter if it's a local law or a federal law? Does the US Constitution not apply to local laws?

And you've already clearly stated that you think some Americans shouldn't own guns.

Backpeddling much?

You'd be surprised at the number of people who have the memory span of a goldfish.

And I agree 100% with what you've said here.

People also want to forget that Trump specifically told people to get the vaccine, that it was safe and effective.

I know many older people who got the vaccine only because of that. Apparently they didn't get the secret memo Trump sent out saying they were supposed to read between the lines and not get it. It was their own fault, I suppose, for not being interested in computers and therefore not going onto websites like these where people can translate what Trump really meant. And it was certainly their fault that they were of the generation where men said what they meant, and meant what they said and people could take them at their word.

I know this is going to get some people's panties in a knot, reading this.

So I'll straight out say it. No, I don't approve of how Trump has continually supported the vax. I think that he should have come out and said it was a mistake when he realized what it was doing to people. Admitting that he was lied to about the safety and efficacy of it wouldn't make him any less of a man.

And blaming people for believing what Trump told them, and continued to tell them is a shitty thing to do. Either they should believe what he says, or not. Either a person is trustworthy, or they aren't. Expecting everyone to hang out online to learn what Trump really means in what he says is not realistic and only exists to absolve Trump in any responsibility for continuing to support the vaccine once it was clear what it was doing.

But even after all of that, I still support him. I'll vote again, even if it doesn't really mean much anymore. Because I realize that it's impossible to agree with another person 100% on everything 100% of the time. And I don't feel the need to pretend to do so to prove my loyalty.

And no where in the 2nd Amendment does it say that convicted felons are not allowed to own guns.

Yet another law that should not exist.

I mean, you have heard people use the phrase "Shall not be infringed", right?

What exactly do you think that means?

"Shall be infringed just a little. Just infringe the stuff I personally want to be infringed. But don't infringe what I think shouldn't be infringed."?

2
ImaSueDeNym 2 points ago +2 / -0

Where in the Second Amendment does it detail the type of people who shouldn't be able to own a gun?

Who gets to decide what a "decent honest human" means?

This is all subject to prejudice. What if a person drinks? What if they smoke? Or have tattoos? Or they're angry all the time? Or they don't go to church? Or they steal candy from babies?

This is one of the times I feel like I've wandered into Bizarro World. I never thought I would be arguing with Anons because they want to infringe on another American's right to own guns.

Let's just say, for argument's sake, that this is true. That Jesus's birthday is September 11, 3 BC. And that this is the reason terrorists decided to attack us on 9/11.

What can or should we do with this information? Should we change the day we celebrate Jesus's birthday to 9/11? Or maybe celebrate on 12/25 and 9/11?

Is there anything that we can do with this information to bring down evil?

What change do you see occurring if everyone was aware of this and believed it to be true?

The indictment isn't for him carrying the gun while he's using drugs, though.

It's about him owning a gun as a drug user. And falsely filling out paperwork saying he wasn't.

There's nothing in the 2nd Amendment saying drug users can't own guns. So they shouldn't even be allowed to ask that.

He already has the right to own a gun. He's a US Citizen. He doesn't need to do anything in order to regain that right.

In fact check September 11th for his birthday and you'll get hundreds of thousands of hits.

Did any of these sources claim that Jesus's birthday was September 11 prior to 2001?

If scholars/researchers had concluded on that date before 9/11/2001, then that would indeed have been extraordinary.

But I've spent the last couple of hours scanning through hundreds of these claims and they all have come far after 2001.

Again, there are problems involved when someone starts with the date they want, and work backward from there.

I'll keep looking, but if anyone has information showing this date was reached before 2001, please share it.

So, you want someone to get tougher sentences for a firearm law that shouldn't exist in the first place?

I'm almost convinced that his indictment is a test to see which we value more. Seeing Hunter Biden being convicted of a crime, or 2A rights.

I'm sure there are plenty of libs laughing their asses off when seeing pro-2A people cheering on a case that clearly violates the 2nd Amendment. 🤦

2
ImaSueDeNym 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ummm. Are we supposed to be happy that he's indicted for a firearms charge?

So is this a test to see which we value more, seeing HB punished for something, anything, or 2A rights?

Why do you get so upset when people show skepticism towards the posts you make here?

I've noticed that this is a common thing with you. It's like you just want people to agree with you, and that's it. No discussion or anything. On a discussion board.

Do you not really see the issue in expecting a group of people who share a common directive of "Question Everything" to just believe whatever it is you post? Or if they don't share your beliefs, to just quietly refrain from commenting?

You post to a group of skeptics and get angry if they show skepticism on what you post. Why?

Or am I mistaken as to what Q said?

Was it "Question everything"?

Or "Question everything except what is posted on GAW"?

Or even "Question everything except what Oh_Well_ian posts"?

I really don't know how people can accurately pinpoint such a date.

Whenever I see things like this, the people doing the calculations rarely take into account that the calendar system we use today, the Gregorian, has only been in use since the 1500s. And different countries have used various versions of their own calendars all these years as well. It's all really a big mess. So it is nice to see that the people mentioned here are aware of the different calendars, since they bring up the Julian calendar and the issues surrounding the different number of days in the year.

I'll give the links a look when I get a chance, but this really strikes me as people starting with a date they want it to be (9/11) and working backward from there. I think that just leaves a lot of room for people to fudge a little info or favor one result over another that allows the dates to match up.

But what do I know, really? Not much.

Dude, you must have an awesome memory to be able to remember a conversation that long, along with all the other details. Well done.
