Totally agree with everything you said… but I also think we should be empathetic and understanding all the time… regardless of what comes into fruition, I’m sure we meet people all the time that are lost with no idea which way to go or who to turn to.

I’ve been on that ledge… alone with no one to turn to, guide or just listen. With only God’s help, I pulled out to the other side but it taught me a valuable lesson.

Interestingly, my business was asked to cater a Mastriano rally at the last minute.. deep into the election season.

I can’t explain it appropriately but when we delivered the food into the VIP section, the people there were all DC GOP swarmy types… like oil slick swarmy and it left a really bad taste in my mouth…

The best advice I can offer is to, as the Bible says, “be still”. There’s no getting around the suck we’re going to have to go through… and no sense playing the “coulda/shoulda” game on what you’ve spent your money one. It’s gone and you can’t change that.

You have to be there for each other to lift and support when one is feeling down… you’re in this together and with a mass of people around you who will be going through the same thing.

Practically, we have to get used to doing with the things we’re used… everything that isn’t basic necessities are a luxury that is going to be painful to give up but we can do it… more importantly, we can be there for each other. We’re going to need it.

Same here.. we own a pizza shop in a relatively small town with lots of tourists and I can’t tell you how many people a day come in that are based and are almost giddy that they can discuss the goings on freely…

I’ll admit that I am no where smart enough to keep track of everything that seems to be fast tracking.. the only thing I have faith in is God… and whatever His plan is…I respect Powell, I respect GMF, I hugely admire everyone in here that brings different perspectives and angles… it brings hope and enthusiasm
