How do we fix this? The same way we fix anything - hard work and dedication.

IMHO… when the smoke clears we’re looking at a 17-mile high mountain of problems to fix. It’s going to take years if not decades - glorious, high-energy years filled with elation and no small amount of wonder at how we survived the beast system for so long. It’s only by God’s grace that we’re still here and it will be by God’s grace that we survive and thrive. ✝️ That’s how I see it, anyway.

Well, another bright mind is off to other adventures. Anon imissvoat has apparently deleted their account. I’ll miss their intelligent contributions.

It’s always kind of sad to see people leave whether or not they share the same or opposing viewpoints on many topics. On that point, I’d advise any anon who may feel frustrated to simply apply the 72-hour rule and take a breather to find an emotionally calm space before taking any rash action like severing their account. We’re all being put through an emotional grinder here and being awake and immersed in the knowledge of so many evils is not an easy burden to bear. Add the “normal”, everyday stresses of life and frustrations can reach a boiling point. Taking some time off is usually a good option to help relieve some pressure. Just MHO.

Polka-Haunt-Us attempting to sound like she gives a crap about the American people getting hosed by another of their marxist schemes? She up for re-selection anytime soon?

Gee, and here I thought it was rabid leftist policies that turn a blind eye to criminals, tie the hands of law enforcement and allow not a shred of genuine basic human compassion for victims of the resultant crimes - as designed by the marxist evil overlords to destroy America.

Stereotypical leftist - never taking responsibility for their words and actions, always blaming others.

Edit: And whatever would we do if they ever stopped beating the proverbial dead horse of racism?

Heavenly Father, please shower this family with Your grace, blessings and protection and turn their hearts towards You for redemption and rebirth in Your love. Evil has come hard against them to separate them from You, to harm them and cause profound, generational grief and sorrow amongst them. Father, we know the evil one attacks those it sees as a threat so we ask that You give them all strength and tenacity to bear up against this latest assault, to break forever this generational curse and overcome this world and the evil in it, that You guide them back to You. Lord, give anon tweety51A and all her family peace in their hearts and comfort in their souls. In Jesus’ blessed name. 🙏✝️

Shivala’s TEACH writing is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. May she Rest In Peace and may you all, her family, be comforted by loving memories of happy times spent together with her.

Thank you for responding (and I truly do appreciate the data-based discussion). You were responding as I was responding in another comment. In researching the wiki references, the first one you cited, for overall religious freedom, says that “recognized” Christian communities (not sure what that means) “are relatively free to worship”.

The second reference you cited, #66, sounds particularly interesting and worth looking into further as do some of the other referenced material.

I’m fading fast here, too tired to respond further tonight, Narg, but will delve into this further tomorrow night if I can find time.

.

Reference #65:

“… Are individuals free to practice and express their religious faith or nonbelief in public and private? 0/4

Iran is home to a majority Shiite Muslim population and Sunni Muslim, Baha’i, Christian, and Zoroastrian minorities. The constitution recognizes only Zoroastrians, Jews, and certain Christian communities as non-Muslim religious minorities, and these small groups are relatively free to worship. The regime cracks down on Muslims who are deemed to be at variance with the state ideology and interpretation of Islam.

Sunni Muslims complain that they have been prevented from building mosques in major cities and face difficulty obtaining government jobs. In recent years, there has been increased pressure on the Sufi Muslim order Nematollahi Gonabadi, including destruction of its places of worship and the jailing of some of its members.

The government also subjects some non-Muslim minorities to repressive policies and discrimination, including Baha’is and unrecognized Christian groups. Baha’is are systematically persecuted, sentenced to prison, and banned from access to higher education. In May 2021, the Baha’i International Community reported on multiple raids of Baha’i homes, along with the detention of more than 20 people. Later that month, the Revolutionary Court of Borazjan issued prison sentences against six Baha’i; one defendant received an 11-year sentence for “propaganda activities against the regime” for discussing their faith, while the other five received 12-and-a-half-year sentences for “assisting in propaganda activities.” …”

Thank you for providing this information. It’s quite interesting and I’ll definitely delve more into this in the future.

I also looked into the writer, Walid Shoebat, and from what I can tell, in addition to lambasting radical muslims, he also advocates for American muslims who aren’t radical. It seems that, despite his conversion from islam to Christianity, he does NOT feel that all muslims are savages. I’d be interested to hear what he has to say about this post’s topic of Dutch politician Wilder’s call to expel ALL muslims from his country and shutter their mosques.

.

https://shoebat.com/shoebat-foundation/who-is-walid/

.

Let me just ask again….

In the information you provided above, Mr. Shoebat states the following:

“… From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia law as a weapon, and jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in: (Etc) …”

… why is it that there are over six thousand Christian churches in Iran?

Please see the links I provided in my first comment in this post (regarding Christianity in Iran). There are pie charts about the religious makeup of Iranians which show that muslims are well over the 60% threshold that Mr Shoebat claims turn them into genocidal maniacs (he himself claims Iran is 98% muslim as per the data you shared). He states:

“… After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some state-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in: (etc) …”

If what Mr Shoebat states is true, how can there be ANY Christian churches or jewish synagogues in predominantly muslim countries? I just picked Iran as an example, but look into others.

Finally, if you have any inclination to read the fuller.edu link I provided in an above comment, I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts on it. I scanned it and at first glance it seems well-reasoned, will delve into it again.

Thank you for the update, anon.

I’m not a doctor, but the absence of bleeds seems like a positive sign. The MRI will show any blockages and I’m sure they’re looking carefully at his blood work (electrolytes, iodine levels, any other deficiencies or imbalances). The fact that it’s weakness and not paralyzation is also an indication that you’re catching a possible stroke at an early stage. T1D (and T2D, for that matter) are rough on the body’s organs over time including (and perhaps especially) the kidneys and the doctors will definitely be including this knowledge as they continue to diagnose your husband and formulate a plan for his recovery. Fifty-two years of T1D - your husband is a strong man.

We’ll continue to pray for you both. 🙏✝️

I have, anon, since 9-11. I’ve probably forgotten more on the subject than most have read, though admittedly not much in the past five years. Not being emotionally-invested in the topic, and as is my nature, I take information from both/all sides of an issue (including the DS narratives aimed at stoking fear and hate).

I was well aware when I wrote my first comment here that there are many here who are emotionally-involved, but brought up the points to consider anyway. I also added a couple links that I thought would be interesting to those who would like to review them. As yet, no one has addressed my question about how there can be Christian churches in predominantly muslim countries if, as some claim, they’re all savages. No one has yet to address my question on MbS. Discussion about Christian vs Christian? Nothing. The research data on American muslim attitudes? Nothing.

While I’m most definitely not a proponent of islam myself (despite what others may think) I remain averse to the WW2-era Japanese internment camp mentality. The Mossad brazenly state that deception is their standard MO yet many believe they’re our greatest ally. (USS Liberty comes to mind). There are those who believe all jews are horrific savages based on the Talmud, but I’m not about to condemn every jewish individual and call for their expulsion and closing of synagogues either. I believe it should all be open to reasoned, dispassionate discussion without censorship. I understand that things of this nature get emotionally charged especially during wartime. Maybe after “the storm” would be a better time to discuss matters like this.

I do appreciate your gentle urging and, as I stated, it’s been some time since I’ve waded into this morass. I’m not particularly “invested”, so to speak, in the topic, but may wade back in at some point in the future to take in whatever the current information is from all sides, all perspectives, but for now I’ve commented all I’m going to. As a closing remark let me just add that I have great hope for the future that so much of what we’ve been led to believe will be exposed as lies and that at least some of the truth will be laid bare before my time here on this earth is over. It’s going to take years if not decades for the truth to come out.

Heavenly Father, we come to You this evening on behalf of anon AlaskaMAGA’s husband and all of his loved ones. Lord, we pray for Your mercy towards, grace for and healing of this beloved husband and that the doctors and all other caregivers involved in his care will give him the most excellent, quality care to help him towards a complete and total recovery from whatever his current ailment is. Lord, if it’s Your will, please make this beloved husband whole again, renew his body and strengthen his spirit. Lord, we ask that You comfort his wife, anon AlaskaMAGA, and all of his loved ones as they go through this stressful time, that You calm their worried minds and give them strength to support him throughout this trial. We ask this of You in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. ✝️🙏

No. He doesn’t say there isn’t violence in islam, but rather that it isn’t a pervasive tenet for all muslims. Again, not blanketing all followers of the religion under the behavior of the worst, most violent ones. He points out in no uncertain terms where the zealots get their perceived “justification” for their violence, doesn’t sugar-coat the fact that they use their religion for this. Did you actually read the article or did you reject it out-of-hand because I used the term “balanced”?

Look, you can have whatever perspective you want, read what you want, don’t read what you don’t want. As I recall you’re former military and, as stated earlier, I simply cannot relate to your perspective as I’m not military. I would have to have been in your shoes to understand your perspective. This is in no way a criticism, but an honest admission that we come from differing points of perspective and it’s apparent we can’t find a basis to continue.

I won’t bother replying to you with more links or even just discussion on what I’m finding as I’m reading through the links you’ve suggested I read. I am learning (from that first link), disagree on some of the interpretation thus far, got about halfway through and then skipped through the second half, will try to find more time at a later date to delve deeper. Thank you, again, for the links.

On a scan through this it seems pretty balanced.

No, I’m not averse to kicking out illegal aliens who have invaded many countries, but am averse to kicking out individuals who may have been there for generations, living peaceably, and closing their places of worship.

You’re claiming superior knowledge and insight into “the nature and scope of the problem” yet all you’ve done is repeat the blanket statement that they’re all bad. Would you at least be willing to share your thoughts on the points I iterated? I don’t ask for links, sauce, or the like, but just your perspective so that I and others here can be more informed.

I haven’t read the books you suggest here, but a serious question…. If, as you state, as the percentage of muslims increases in a nation, subjugation and murder of Christians reliably occur…. Why then are there over six thousand Christian churches in Iran, for example?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_in_Iran

https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2020/september/iran-christian-conversions-gamaan-religion-survey.html

.

Also, is Mohammed bin Salman a muslim? From the way I understand it, POTUS alerted him to an imminent assassination attempt in NV, for which MbS was thankful enough to then assist POTUS in speaking to other high profile individuals that needed “persuasion” to get off the wrong paths they were pursuing. He also locked up several of the corrupt power players in his country and welcomed POTUS to participate in some meaningful rites (sword dance) in SA.

Does it make more sense perhaps that the radical islamists are the problem? Even the first book you linked doesn’t say “We must defeat Islam”, but rather “We must defeat radical Islam”.

.

One final thought… as I recall, there was quite a lot of warring between two Christian ideologies in Ireland, both believing the other should be eradicated, before they were brought to their senses and came together. I have hope that good people of all religions can come together and fight against the evil ones of all religions.

.

I can’t speak to what our servicemen and women who were sent to predominantly muslim countries to do battle over there and lost brothers-in-arms and/or were injured themselves harbor as emotions towards muslims in general; my perspective here is, admittedly, non-military and viewing the religious landscape from a 40K view over a historical timeline.

My knee-jerk reaction to Mr Wilder’s desire to mete out collective punishment to all muslims, closing their places of worship, for example, is revulsion. Perhaps it’s because we here in the States who are Christian can certainly imagine the current DS issuing an edict through their puppet Potatus that all churches are to be closed as they deem all Christians as “terrorists”. Just some of my thoughts. MHO.

Some of them, yes, of course, the free thinkers amongst them. As political commentator Leo Terrell said when he left the democrat party, his party left him; he didn’t actually leave his party. When they’re black like this lady in the clip or Leo Terrell, the marxist left accuses them of being white supremacists (as they accuse all conservatives of being). Honestly it just makes the worthless marxists seem even more ridiculous than they are because patriots come from all walks of life.

The entire Walkaway movement is mostly people previously on the left who woke up, as did the movement’s founder, Brandon Straka, and left the democrat party. What this lady in the clip here in your post is saying is just as important today as it was seven years ago. But using this as an example of current leftists waking up as WSA implies is incorrect.

Now, all this said, your post is interesting because this clip played on CNN back then! I’m guessing it was because their fake polls were showing the evil Hilldawg with a 90+% chance of winning so they could appear to look fair and balanced. As soon as DJT got elected, all the FNM outlets turned immediately into rabid jackals.

9
Luminosity 9 points ago +9 / -0

Same. I was with a whole gathering of leftists listening to them talk about all their ailments and declining health, how so many people they know are dying, getting sudden onset dementia, etc, how violent and crazy the world is becoming (recent stabbings) and how the Potatus is doing a great job. It’s nearly jaw-dropping cognitive dissonance.

Like you I kept my mouth shut (they’re all vehement jab proponents) and enjoyed my feast. Any truth they take to heart in the future is going to have to come from their FNM puppet masters. I’m under the impression they’re not even close to waking up to the harsh truths. I feel like an anthropologist studying behavior as I listen to these folks.
