So first off, 48 hour rule. "anticipated resignation", "sources say", "people close to musk" - no names, no actual events confirmed. This is currently speculation, sourced by cbs (poor) and politician (terrible).

If false, then it's just another example of clickbait.

If true, however, it is not a huge loss. In particular, vivek's past has been questionable at best, and outright dodgy AF at worst. Couple that with appearing to ride on trump's coattails along side the musk "dark MAGA" crew, and the accusations of not doing heavy lifting, losing such a person isn't a loss. It's a sign of efficiency being applied at the source.

Besides, having two people running a "department of government efficency" is a typical example of how inefficient the government is in general.

Woman looks stoned. Man looks like he fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, with most of the wall ops on the right side of his head.

Black nationalists in SA are attacking White owned farmers ("Boers" being Dutch descendant South africans) and murdering them. Basically "kill the descendants of the colonies because colonialists."

The terrible thing is this isn't something that has just happened overnight. It's been brewing in SA for years. Personally I blame the anc and it's rehtoric...

Capitalism works when a monopoly provider of governance isn't in place, corrupting the market and creating protections and regulations that allow big corporations to exist. Corporations truly are the children of governments.

My only concern is the term "living income" in all of this. First off it's covered by a right to contract, so it is technically redundant. Secondly what defines a "living wage" in a market?

Everything else is pretty good for a free society.

Self defense + property is the right to bear arms. If I want to defend myself with a mini gun it is both a property and defensive right.

Buying Counterfeit goods at cut rate prices. You technically don't suffer a loss as the buyer, but you are being deceived that the goods are something they aren't.

I'd fly back to my family home if it's in Mt Veron 😊

I can't listen to schiff for more than a couple of minutes before I develop a need to throw shoes at his face, which might break my phone.

Laughing nervously and being happy aren't the same thing...

"Little L" libertarians will be happy with the words, but those of us who have been burned by the political theater are taking a trust but verify approach with all this.

Ancaps will see it as a step towards the dream if it does go through, but keeping us happy would require soooo many changes to tax law and such levels of diversification of services that we probably won't be truly content for another 100-200 years if this track is followed continuously. But for me, I'll take what I can get when I get it.

Aye that's true, but have remarried, and planning to build a family as soon as I can

This is why I advocate for the privatisation of ALL SERVICES. There are private firefighters and police, there are arbitration courts that are private courts. Every service can be privatised, and should be.

Imagine a world where you can choose who services your house for everything. How much money could you save if you didn't have to pay (under threat of arrest) a monopoly institution that often worked against your interests?
