I've have contemplated a lot on the fact that the cabal seemed to grow exponentially in power in the eighties and nineties. I suspect it began in the seventies, likely during going of the gold standard and the first oil embargo, but no later than 1978 or so.
I feel the same way about the business world. I've worked many manufacturing jobs. The are filled from the bottom to the top with lazy, greedy, apathetic, and incompetent people. I can't even begin to imagine how America is going to turn itself around even if the alleged swamp is drained.
