Re DOD ch 11.3.2. The Geneva Convention lasts 1 year AFTER the END of occupation. The occupation hasn’t ended yet so 1/20/22 has no significance because 1/20/21 was the beginning of occupation. Not the end. Not trying to be a buzz kill and I am 100% on the devolution / law of war manual side if this. Just important to note that.
