He promotes climate change stuff for the same reason Trump promotes and endorses things. To show normal people how shitty and horrible things can be. So simple and genius!
Haven't you opened your eyes to see yet? Donald Trump exposes. That's what he does. If he promotes something that turns out to "fail" or does poorly after he hyped it up, then that's a clue that he never actually endorsed that thing. Merely he's "showing" the people that it's a horrible idea. So he promotes the vaccine to prove to people how utterly stupid that is.
He wouldn't do that unless he believes people need to be shown how bad of an idea it is to pick a random hobo from under the bridge.
Wish he'd surround himself with people of integrity instead of people he wants to "expose". Obsessing about loyalty to a person is like a mob boss trait. I think Trump is worried about people being loyal to truth, justice and the Constitution of The United States of America. He's not insecure enough to worry about loyalty to himself.
Do they admit to mistakes? If not, they are not pretending.
Maybe we should take another look at every leader that history has decided was "horrible at picking leaders". Maybe they've always used this technique. Maybe all the leaders of our country could take a page from Donald Trump and The White Hats. If someone isn't qualified for a job, give it to them to prove it. The bigger the catastrophic outcome the better! It shows people that ... "See? They shouldn't have been elected! Next!".

It would be a great thing if the next leaders of our nation decided to try a radical overhaul on the way the profession of soldier is elevated in stays and benefits etc. So that we really do begin to have a healthier view of ourselves as a nation. Each of us is somewhat ashamed of that aspect of our defense apparatus, I imagine. Just imagine if our best and brightest sought to defend our borders, and so they actually deliver results and were less tempted to be corrupt, or not solve the problem at all. Job security, after all.
