Zionism is definitely a fringe right wing belief in the sense that we shouldn't be funding the Israeli government as much as we currently are. The rabble rousers call it anti-semitism when it's really just pro-we-need-to-put-USA-first.
Most definitely, and a good loan to make. Basically, a wealthy individual can go to a bank and say I need a short term loan for 6.6bil. If they have assets to cover it, the bank will agree. Then the donor gives the money to the Pentagon or whoever, and the troops get paid. Once the shutdown is over, the money that would have gone to the troops anyway now goes to pay back the donor. Worst case scenario is the donor is on the hook for the loan fees and interest, but I'm sure there are tax loopholes that can be activated. Donor is a hero, Trump is a hero, the left is caught with Big Mike's dock in their hands, and the American people get another example of who actually gives a shit about them.
- Afterthought - this comment was inspired by one of the Twitter replies that said it has to be Elon or someone in that echelon of the financial world, but my explanation shows that the actual cost to the.donor is much less than 6.6bil and they don't even need to front the entire amount.

Looks like this clip didn't present the whole story. I am in no way defending the UK Police state, but this article says that the girl in question created a fake account which was used to harrass another child. The officers were collecting the phone as evidence in the investigation... and therefore should have presented a warrant. But it wasn't as simple as just "viewing a post."
That was heartwrenching to listen to. One thing that I can say I'm happy for is that Charlie was loved in life, and continues to be loved in death. Those who knew him are drawing closer to God and each other. No amount of demonic harpies cackling on twitter can break the support network that Charlie's family and friends are leaning on during this tragedy.

I have a story about this program: in 2008, I took over a small seasonal business on the east coast. A coworker turned employee applied for this green card lottery and was approved. Previously, he had been spending 6 months here on a work visa and then returning to the Czech Republic for the rest of the year. After winning this lottery, he was able to stay in the US year round, eventually starting his own small business. As far as I know he still runs that business during the summers and spends 3-4 months back home during the off season. I share this story to remind myself and others that although these programs are misused by some people, there are others who play by the rules and become productive US citizens. We should definitely want to encourage positive immigration practices while eliminating the Open Door Policy of the progressive left.
