2012 GOP Primary for me, as a Ron Paul guy.

Definitely should have pulled your money out after the great bailouts of 2008. Also, I believe BofA was using an algo to maximize overdraft fees, not sure if they still are or not, and if it is industry wide practice for the monster mega banks as Clark Howard calls them.

Late response, but yes our cells are replaced over time. Depends on the particular cell type, however. With say sperm cells lasting 3 days, red blood cells about a month and white ones a year. Nerve cells generally don't regenerate, however, particularly the brain.

As for the spike protein issue, its complicated. I have a background in chemistry, so I know a bit, but others may know more. mRNA (messenger RNA) does degrade over time, so assuming it is not being coded into DNA proper via a Reverse Transcriptase type enzyme, the amount of mRNA to produce spike proteins will go down by biological half life (days, I think, thus the need for a 'booster' at 1 month).

This leads to a second potential issue. If the spike proteins are prions (theorized elsewhere, hence 'shedding') then it is possible they can replicate without the mRNA (potentially at a slow rate). Prions cause things like Kuru, Mad Cow Disease, etc. The worst case would be a spreadable prion disease, because the effects would be very long term, and no known treatment.

Of course, that also may not be the case, hopefully. The last major issue would be ADE (Antibody dependent Enhancement). Leaky vaccines that fail to eliminate the virus definitively, lead to this effect. The neutralizing antibodies fade over time, resulting in an immune system trained to fight off a particular strain/config of a virus, thus being 'blind' to potential mutations. Normally, as others have stated, viruses become less lethal/more contagious as that is more optimal for them. But a person with ADE, basically responds as a person with near 0% immunity, resulting in much worse symptoms/prognosis. (Thus higher viral loads, and infecting others).

This effect may decrease with time, but not likely before re-exposure to the virus (given its a respiratory virus, etc).

Not sure if that helped. Basically depends on if the spike protein is a replicating prion, or if the mRNA modifies DNA (resulting in mostly permanent genetic change). Either of those would cause continuous spike generation.

Without those body would generate a given number of spike proteins without further booster shots/etc, just over time instead of all at once.

As to the potential effects.... well... that is what long term testing is for, sadly.

It was the executive order banned private ownership of gold, but it was still used as backing internationally as part of Bretton Woods agreement from the end of WW2 to Nixon closing the gold window in 71 preventing foreign governments from redeeming gold with US dollars held. (this after devaluations from 20.67$ per oz prior to FDR's act, where he immediately increased it to 35$ an oz, then was at 42 and some change by 71)

Social status is crack for humans generally as a social species. Anything that gives you perceived status as a good person or morally superior will be highly favored, especially if it trivial in cost.

Although the money power is quite strong, the real battle is a spiritual one at the fundamental level. Without the 'legitimacy' of central government's monopoly on the provision of Justice (the legitimate use of force in society), and respect for property inherent in successful countries, the money power would buy nothing.

In other words, Governments were created in order to control evil by men, but instead forge the very fetters around people's necks. Creating the One Ring or trying to wield it will result in such an end, generally. (Unless you are Tom Bombadil of course)

Or in biblical terms:

Samuel’s Warning (1 Samuel 8)

10 So Samuel spoke all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. 11 He said, “This will be the manner of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them to his own chariots and horses, to run in front of his chariots.

12 He will appoint some for himself as commanders of thousands and of fifties, and others to plow his ground, to reap his harvest, to make his weapons of war, and to equip his chariots.

13 And he will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers.

14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his servants. 15 He will take a tenth of your grain and grape harvest and give it to his officials and servants. 16 And he will take your menservants and maidservants and your best cattle and donkeys and put them to his own use.

17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. 18 When that day comes, you will beg for relief from the king you have chosen, but the LORD will not answer you on that day.”

Hard to say, Maybe Eisenhower, maybe Calvin Coolidge. String of mostly bad Presidents since Woodrow Wilson/The Progressive Era as a whole, since that's when the whole 'rule of society by top men' thing was implemented more openly via the institutions.

Probably because Jimmy Carter was pretty terrible, and the oil crisis of the 70s/etc. Similar to how Bush Jr was defended for a long time by 'conservatives', by the virtue of not being Clinton or Gore.

He also as Governor of California passed No Fault divorce, and got the supposed fiscal conservatives used to perpetual budget deficits and ballooning US debt.

The only real shock for me was the brazenness of it all. As an example, I would have expected the SCOTUS to take the election cases to deep six them, just as the FBI normally operates. Instead, they openly laughed off any attempt at addressing the electoral fraud/lawlessness.

Thats pretty typical. Promote someone who is worthless and thus completely dependent upon your good graces, ensuring loyalty.

That is how God demonstrates his power and grace. 'Is the Messiah really going to come from Nazareth?' writ large.

Blue Anon sounds similar to Qanon, as used by the media. Is used to refer to lefties who buy into any conspiracy theories about Trump/Russia, etc. Had an Urban dictionary page until they got flooded with hate mail or whatever and caved.

As I have said elsewhere, the left really hates Russia for giving up the dream of Communism. basically makes them heretics to the lefties. And for most of the supposed right it seems the cold war era propaganda gets activated just by referring to Russia.

Eh, product of television 'programming' and mass media in general. Also our education systems focus on easily testable 'facts' vs deeper understanding of anything. At least in my opinion.

You could read The Creature from Jekyll Island, or for a more technical look, Rothbard's Mystery of Banking.

To sum up, credit functions as money, and thus licensed banks are effectively given the ability to print money. In theory its limited by the reserve ratio set by the Federal Reserve, but in truth since Banks earn money by lending it, they have an incentive to always lend out more than they should. Without central banks, most of modern warfare would become unfeasible as direct taxation/borrowing would be required rather than floating treasuries via a central bank.

Its a pretty complex topic, and how evil it is depends on your moral system. But, it is not an accident that all the major European powers instituted central banking prior to the Great War (WWI).

Hard to tell, but probably slush money. Basically payoffs/paybacks as is typical with these kinds of bills. Most museums are state and local, not federal in the US, for example. So this would be extra money for those institutions.

Shirou-AoV 1 point ago +2 / -1

Alternative would be zero, unless the article is stretching the term stimulus bill. We used to have annual budgets, but not so much in the past 20 years. So every spending bill is pretty much ad hoc, its how you get the insane levels of debt the US has
