My understanding is the upside is twofold. OP believes some members of the Court were exposed as being controlled by foreign influence. If true they could be designated unlawful enemy combatants.
Second, in the process of blocking the President’s use of IEEPA they laid out what they consider as legitimate avenues for levying tariffs, and even sanctions against foreign trading partners. Now, when POTUS cites these laws when levying tariffs, they will be nearly impossible to challenge.
When President Trump provokes and cajoles SCOTUS in advance of a ruling the way he did on IEEPA tariffs, he’s knew they are going to rule against him. But, he does nothing random, there is always a target.
Thanks to u/Steppenwolfe it has me thinking maybe this case was about outmaneuvering SCOTUS. Maybe IEEPA was used knowing that in the process of blocking it SCOTUS would have to endorse other laws that give broad authority to levy tariffs?
I wish I could find it, but someone here predicted that SCOTUS would block the tariffs levied under the IEEPA, but they gave examples of how the Trump Administration had other avenues to levy tariffs. Since it was a comment and not a post it’s practically impossible to find.
Even though he doesn’t say it explicitly, I think President Trump has a plan for saving Social Security.
-
Tariffs to increase revenues and decrease deficit spending. Lower deficits undercut calls to cut Social Security.
-
Tariffs to unleash a domestic manufacturing boom. Increased employment, better wages, increased tax and social security revenues.
-
End the Federal Reserve and the exorbitant interest rates the Government is paying. As President Trump has pointed out, we could be actually be reducing the National Debt, if we had an appropriate prime rate.
-
Establish a Sovereign Wealth Fund that accumulates wealth versus the current approach which erodes wealth.
-
Buy time. As a person from the final years of the baby boom, I like this the least, but it’s reality. The life expectancy in the U.S. is 79 years which means a significant percentage of the baby boomers will be gone over the next 10 to 15 years. This will dramatically decrease the amount of Social Security being paid out.
Pence had already posted a letter saying his role was only ceremonial and that he had no power to challenge the so-called results. Given he already said he was going to do nothing, the pipe bomber is irrelevant to Pence’s actions.
This post brings to mind the story about the American who was called the Hermit of Loretto and his vision in the early 1980’s that Donald J. Trump would lead the nation back to God.
I couldn’t help, but think of Charlie Kirk as I watched this. He had a gift for not only engaging with people like her, but also, often opening their eyes, at least a little.
As enjoyable as it was watching D’Souza correcting her, he didn’t move the needle in opening her mind. And, unfortunately, some number of these people still need to wake up to push the Great Awakening over the tipping point.
Of all the people in the world, General Flynn should know the DS practically owns the judicial branch. The DS controls a lot of judges and they know how to load a jury with lefties. Why is he pushing for these people to be tried in the same system that was railroading him?
I think we’re going to eventually learn that audit wasn’t done to expose the truth, it was part of the coverup. If I recall correctly Jovan Pulitzer talked about a document scanner that could identify counterfeit ballots, but he was blocked from using it.
The main thing I remember is the audit gave the DS the sound bite they could run with. . . Biden actually received more votes than originally thought.
About two months before the election Q layed out the DS playbook for stealing the election. Post 4688 even projected that 80 million mail in ballots for Biden were prepared as early as April/May to sidestep election night defeat.
TLDR: Two foreign nationals had a call intercepted by a foreign intelligence agency where they were talking about Kushner. Somehow this call is included in a so-called whistleblower complaint against DNI Gabbard.
This sounds like the old Five Eyes playbook to try to disrupt POTUS by going after his people and family.
I get the impression this surge had as much to do with gathering intel on the paid agitator operation as it did with grabbing illegal immigrant criminals. The fact Homan was able to quickly negotiate with local authorities to work with ICE suggests he came to town with leverage.
Part of the plan.
If she charges people, they stand trial in the corrupted civilian court system. A system where activist judges and liberal juries regularly absolve DS operatives of their crimes.
Activist judges need to be removed and way more lefties need to wake up, or these people will never truly face justice. Or, their crimes have to be clearly linked to the grand conspiracy to subvert our government so they can be charged in a military tribunal.
I’ve been thinking for a while the Dems are an organized crime syndicate. Look at how blue states and cities enable, then protect criminals. They do this because they are likely getting a piece of the action.
Same goes for illegal immigration. Yes, one big factor is to steal elections, but they’re also supplying human beings to groups who want to exploit them for financial gain. Why? Because they are likely getting a piece of the action for enabling mass human trafficking.
I think this is part of the recurring theme in Q posts that “you have more than you know.”
And, we know enemy combatants should not be charged in a civilian court. Their destination must be military tribunals, preferably at Guantanamo. Bondi won’t charge the people because she shouldn’t.
Do you expect HRC, GS, Hussein, etc to stand in a PUBLIC courtroom w/ potential crooked judges and tainted ‘liberal’ juries?
If Bondi charges them that is what happens, and they all walk. Just like the two guys Durham had slam dunk cases against.
The only way they are served justice is to face a military tribunal.
FedEx acts as a customs broker and pays the duties in items shipped through them. Then they bill the importer for the customs fees.
I’m no legal eagle, but the FedEx suit seems like it would complicate things. If the importers file claims for the same charges that will be a mess to sort out. Plus, it would seem the appropriate defendant for the FedEx claim would be the importer of record, not the Federal Government.
