If you don't want to have children, if they make it out alive, born with horrible deformities and have to watch your girlfriend die slowly (or quickly!) in front of you.... I'd say move on. The shot is a dealbreaker.

I have started IF recently. Dr. Berg has a lot of good videos on it. The most amazing thing I have found so far is that I'm not hungry when I wake up, or really much at all. I'm "easing into" the whole thing starting with an 8 hour eating window (10-6). I may cut it down to 6 eventually (maybe not), but likely never more than that. I want it to be sustainable.

My friend is a molecular biologist. Last time we had lunch, which was a summer or two ago, she went on a long rant about these vaccines.
