I remember that!

Not true. If you convert both the above words to upper case you get: REPUBIICAN and REPUBLICAN.

But you can see how easy it is to fool people and, of course, the voting machines know no better.

Last time, if you voted for Republican down the ticket on some machines they missed out Donald Trump because he was listed as a "RepubIican" and not as a "Republican".

Note the upper case "I" in the middle of the word.

I made some notes at the time and put them on this web site.

If you can think of a way to subvert an election they tried it. One of the best ones was Trump losing nearly 20,000 votes in Pennsylvania while Biden gained the same amount. That was broadcast on live TV! Nothing to see here, folks.

The judges were complicit as well. Some cases they threw out because they were too early. Similar cases were thrown out because they were too late! Some were rejected because of "lack of standing" that is, if you do not have a dog in the race you cannot bring a case. They even rejected some of Trump's cases on that basis. Did he have a direct interest in the outcome?

Rudy Giuliani says he had a table full of ring binders all containing signed affidavits which are basically witness testimony written under oath. No-one wanted to see any of them.

This relates to something Steve Bannon mentioned earlier today:

We're going to get to what is important and that's the politics of money and, once we get to the politics of money, there's going to be some fundamental changes in this country.

FWIW, I am taking that as "nuclear-capable" until proven otherwise.

Good to know I am not the only nerd here!

I'm wondering if this "good job" involves keeping the Republican's slim majority in tact. I am not a particular Johnson fan but he is walking a bit of a tightrope at the moment.

Maybe it is better to give away some wins than to lose overall control?

If someone were to invade a NATO country then all of NATO would be eligible to respond.

What if Russia has similar agreements? So if someone invades Russia the countries who are part of that agreement can help? Yes?

So far, it looks like North Korea will be in Kursk which is Russia but has been invaded by Ukraine.

Just by inspection, OP's link is not quite correct. The "s" is in the wrong place. I think this will be closer:

These people all have special powers. They always seem to know what people are thinking. Maybe they really are witches.

Or perhaps they think if they throw enough dirt some of it will stick?

Don't give up so easily!

Have you applied for a postal vote in California? I don't know if you actually have to cross the Rio Grande to qualify or whether being a possible immigrant is sufficient.

I like your thinking but, sadly, I cannot give you full marks.

We need to learn from E Jean Carroll. The crime needs to be stated in detail but the details about timing need to be withheld. So, "Trump farted in class," is OK but adding other details will allow the incident to be verified and, possibly, denied.

Expect a new menu from McDonald's soon: Mac, Big Mac and MAGA Mac.

This may be an unpopular view here but I think this is a good reason to vote Democrat.

Republicans just talk about fixing the fake news journalists but the Democrats actually do something about it!

("Fifteen feet?" If they had put a bayonet on the end of their rifles they could almost have stabbed the target from that range!)

I believe they chose to ignore Bannon's possible "early release" date without providing a reason. His scheduled release date is just before election day.

No problem.

After the ballots arrive the counting stations should be sealed off by either the National Guard or the army and no more ballots should be allowed in.

If they are good then food should be supplied!

The driver needs to be careful. Stray cats can be taken to the vets for an operation ...

The obvious ploy would be to find some reason to prevent voting on Nov 5th like WW3, UFOs, climate change, whatever.

Then, part 2, they decide to just use the ballots they have so far because they will be representative, won't they?
