One person's virus cannot infect another unless injected in. One organ's virus cannot infect another organ either. Viruses are always DNA specific and your heart is closer in code to your liver than another's heart.

A virus is not alive. The only way it can get into your system is through injecting it into the bloodstream. All viral epidemics are clandestinely orchestrated in this manner.

And yes if you have experience of catching a cold/flu from someone, be assured that it was simply your body mimicking a viral detoxification of someone around you (similar to how dogs start howling at night) and a virus did not jump through the air and invade your nasal passage despite not even having a nucleus.
