Fuck the Republicans
They always do shit like this when they know it'll never go beyond the House (and by that I mean it won't pass the Senate and it won't be signed into law by the President).
But when the Republicans held both houses of Congress and the Presidency, it was fucking crickets.
The Democrats are much worse, but at least they're upfront with how they hate America and the American people.
The Bible says mankind should fear God, and I believe that to be true. Yes, God is a loving father, but he is also omnipotent and can do incredible things, which deserves a healthy dose of fear on our part.

I'm old enough to remember the war on paper bags
Paper bags were destroying the rainforest, or so we were told. Plastic bags were the way to go. And nearly every grocery store and retailer started exclusively using plastic bags. A few decades later, plastic bags are evil now.
Ironically paper bags should be considered to be better for the environment. We can responsibly grow trees, and any paper bags that turn into litter will decompose faster than plastic.
Evolution is a hoax
Adaptation from one generation to the next based on traits that are more likely to result in reproduction is real, provable, and easily observable over short periods of time.
But the idea that life suddenly emerged from nonliving material without the supernatural power of God is a farce.
"Green Energy" is a fake term when you really think about it.
Oil, coal, and gas burn to produce water and carbon dioxide. Water and carbon dioxide (plus sunlight) is the primary food source for plants. So where does oil, coal, and gas come from? Living things under the earth that either live there, like bacteria, or plants & animals that got trapped there in mudslides. "Fossil fuels" is an even faker term, because it implies only dinosaurs can become fuel under the earth, and since dinosaurs are extinct, there's no way to create more fuel. Global warming is a hoax; increases in carbon dioxide get swallowed up by increased plant growth.
Nuclear is the best source of energy. It's just that nuclear plant designs from many decades ago had safety flaws. Newer designs are much safer, but the government is unwilling to approve them for construction.
Also wanted to add that the argument at the end is false. Politicians don't get wealthy on taxes which pay their salaries. They get wealthy on insider trading, because they're writing the rules that affect the market, and corruption.
