Key Colorado Officials Involved in Tina Peters' Case
Governor of Colorado Jared Polis: As the governor, he has the final authority to approve or deny the request for Tina Peters' transfer to federal custody. He is facing pressure from both Republican and Democratic officials to keep Peters in state custody.
Attorney General Phil Weiser: The Colorado Attorney General has publicly opposed the transfer request, emphasizing the importance of maintaining accountability for Peters' actions that undermined election integrity.
Secretary of State Jena Griswold: The Secretary of State has also urged Governor Polis to deny the transfer, citing concerns that Peters could continue to spread false narratives about the 2020 election if moved to federal custody.
Local District Attorney Dan Rubinstein: The Mesa County District Attorney, a Republican, has joined the call to keep Peters in state custody, arguing that transferring her would undermine the judicial process and the safety of election officials.
Colorado County Clerks Association This bipartisan group of county clerks has expressed strong opposition to the transfer, stating it would endanger election officials and undermine the integrity of Colorado's electoral process.
These officials collectively influence the decision regarding Tina Peters' custody and the implications of any potential transfer to federal authorities.
You all discredit your legacies by not releasing Tina Peters, as she was imprisoned for political reasons and not criminal ones.
They're well fed, their medical insurance is the best, their retirement system is 2nd to none, they get rich using insider information on stocks, they travel in style, and as a result, there is never any sense of urgency when it comes to working for us poor peons who voted for them. I watched a lot of the Senate vote for cloture on the final attempt to pass the stop gap measure and I've never seen such lackadaisical bunch of overpaid parasites in my life. With a few exceptions neither side seems to care whether things get done or not.
There is no way Sliwa should bow out. Are you telling me that Cuomo (you remember - the guy who is responsible for the deaths of many elderly nursing home tenants during covid) deserves anything except prison? Give NY what they're asking for and let's see how they come out the other side. Sometimes trying to support the lesser of 2 evils is just that. Supporting evil.
The numbers are based on criminals committing crimes knowing a decent percentage of the population are armed and could fight back. If the population were basically unarmed, like Britain, do you think crime would go up or down? I believe the fact that we DO have the 2nd amendment means that crimes are less likely for that reason alone.
#2 made me shake my head. Let me try to think like this moron for a moment.
First, some unrelated information provided by his MSM:
From an Atlantic (note the wording) article (2018) Of the 1,146 and 1,092 victims of [fatal] police violence in 2015 and 2016, respectively, the authors found that 52 percent were white, 26 percent were black, and 17 percent were Hispanic.
From another 2018 article from CNBC A recent Johns Hopkins study claims more than 250,000 people in the U.S. die every year from medical errors. Other reports claim the numbers to be as high as 440,000. Medical errors are the third-leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer. (No racial breakdown, but I'm pretty sure POC use the medical system.)
Moronic conclusion: Why in the hell aren't we de-funding doctors? Am I right?
And by the way. If you look deeper into that first one, and examine the ratio of police encounters with people by race, I think you'd see that only reason Chris gets away with that remark is the the true statistics aren't out there. White kids ARE being killed, but Chris and his cohorts hide those stories because they don't support their twisted narrative.
Military vet from the 70's. The Pentagon's budget has been a black hole for a lot longer than that. And every September, every organization spent any remaining money in the budget so that they got more, not less the following year. If you didn't need what you bought, you warehoused it and paid for storage. It's the culture. I believe in funding the best military in the world, but if they really let DOGE go after all the fraud and waste, there'd be money to fix an awful lot of other stuff. Just sayin'.
