My county, thankfully not my school district. However, they're redistricting and our school population is likely going to increase exponentially. Will have my kid out by the time that happens. And yes, I should have had him out sooner, but the school he's at has been an exception to the insanity happening around here.
That poor family. I am devastated.
Although recognizing that in hindsight much is clearer, much of this also seems to have been clear at the time.>
This is possibly the most damning sentence. Of course we all knew all along what the FIB and DOJ were doing. Nice to actually see this acknowledged.
From Haley's tweet: "SC's not woke, but we're not sanctimonious about it either."
Sanctimonious, you say? As in, Ron DeSanctimonious? No fan of hers, but of all the words she could have picked she picked Trump's favorite DeSantis insult.
This movie is getting weird.
I also remembered Gutfeld chiding Charlie Hurt when he spoke against the vaccine. Gutfeld likes to pretend he's a punk rock kind of guy, but in the end he's a company man.
Curious to know how he avoided getting the jab when FNC mandated it?
They did. While Tucker may not have been vocal about it, he does not call out his own coworkers for cheerleading about the death jab. This, and sweeping election fraud under the rug make Fox News worse than the MSM, because of the number of normies who believe them whole cloth.
Someone with video editing skills should make a video of Tucker's monologue spliced with Cavuto, Gutfeld, and others shilling for the vax. That may wake more FNC viewers up to how insidious they are.
If you've seen the movie An American Carol you've seen Chris Farley's brother. He plays a Michael Moore-type who has his own "awakening" about America and patriotism. Saw an interview with him, and he considers himself a conservative.
Chris though was one of a kind. Played one of the Matt Foley sketches for my son and he couldn't stop laughing. RIP.
Spouse got it in his 30's. He thought he was dying. When the doctor told him what it was he was surprised because he thought he had it as a kid, so either he didn't, or the case he had as a kid wasn't severe. According to my mom I got it when I was around 18 months old so I can't compare my experience to his. I do remember my mom telling me I had to have mittens on to prevent scratching so much. I had heard of chickenpox parties, but could you imagine the reaction of people nowadays if you suggested something like that now? The horror! π
I don't frequent there anymore, but VodkaPundit on PJ Media generally does a good job with the live blog. https://pjmedia.com/liveblog/2023/02/07/drunkblogging-the-state-of-the-union-address-n236
In my personal life, my normie friends (including my spouse) are all conservative. They are not extreme in the least, and they are generally careful to not reveal themselves to others until they're certain it's safe to do so. More likely a by-product of being red in a blue state. My based friend since kindergarten lives in a red state now and could give two f's about what the radicals back home think of him when he comes to visit. I wish my normie friends would follow his example.
Interesting the number of comments on the GWP article that are anti-Faux News and recounting how Gutfeld was anti-Trump in 2016. Before 2020 it would have been mostly positive comments, now the curtain is pulled. We are the news now, fren π.
They are claiming an aircraft broke the sound barrier. I don't think the ground shakes like that when that happens, does it?
