There used to be a cool show on Discovery (before they got woke-jacked) called Junkyard wars where engineer college students would compete to build something using only parts they could find in a junk yard. Massie was the team captain for team MIT for two episodes. Circa 1990s (cant recall exact year). You could see his leadership and genius even as a young kid.
