College is unaffordable because of all the subsidization and financing which led to tuitions far surpassing the inflation rate for many years and the wages you would get in return. There will be a time where the bill becomes due and this scam will collapse under their own weight.
I don't see either side conceding. If Trump wins the election, it will cue a lot of lawfare and Victoria Nuland orchestrating a colour revolution in order to persuade the Supreme Court. They were ready for this in 2020 but Trump stepped down and that side had lost a lot of support from their base and their elites, which I think Operation Warp Speed is responsible for.
If the Dems are going to win they wouldn't be panicking right now with all the Hitler rhetoric, editing speeches to fit their narrative, etc.. 2024 is not 2020 - they don't have covid plausible deniability with the mail in ballots, they don't have the outright fraud that Zukerberg and NBA did in 2020, and they don't have Twitter and narrative control. On top of this they need to outperform their cheat they did in 2020 with Republicans ballot harvesting. I also think Trump left for a reason to show us how bad it can get. He will not let the same shit happen in 2024.
It's pretty similar to how banks caused the housing crisis in 2008. Colleges opened up by being more accessible and to do this the banking sector started providing loans for education, which drove up the costs of tuitions. So not only were tuitions skyrocketing, but the education itself was getting further devalued.
I'm not aware of any direct policy on tuitions by Trump, but his policy on the dollar should be better the fact the dollar would be stronger and receiving better compensation for your work
