Okay, here's a good starting point for you.

https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/search - Under the Categories option at the top of the page, you can choose to see whatever catagory you're interested in.

https://www.thepennyhoarder.com/wfh/ - This site is a great resource. They used to vet the job postings too. Not sure if they still do, but I can't imagine not.

https://www.flexjobs.com/remote-jobs - Love the layout of this site because it makes searching specific categories super easy.

https://powertofly.com/jobs/ - This site tends to be more heavy technical and IT roles, but there are customer service and sales options to check out.

https://www.ziprecruiter.com/Jobs/Online-Remote - Make sure to choose the fully remote option versus in-person remote.

You can also search Indeed for remote work - just enter remote or telecommute in for the location, then add the type of job to the search. Craigslist is usually more scammy stuff than legit remote jobs, so please be careful there if you choose to use it.

Hope this helps a bit! I'm also more than happy to review your resume if that's also helpful. I'm a COO and have managed HR depts for years.

Would love to hear how you're doing later and if you were able to find some work. Please keep in touch.

Prayers going up! If you have time to work from home some, I have a list of some resources to look for remote work if you're interested. Might not work for you, but I thought I'd put it out there for you. Happy to send if needed.

YES, so funny you mention something creative! I haven't painted in over a year and a half and finally dug out my paints and brushes earlier this week and was "called" (the only way I can put it) to buy two huge canvases. Evidently, I'm painting this weekend. LOL! Can't wait to see what turns up. Hope ya'll have some fun too!

Holy crap did I need to read this today. Both my husband and I aren't anywhere close to the same people we used to be - barely holding it together, looking at everything as the puzzle it is, etc., etc. I too would rather be red-pilled that asleep, but it's a heavy burden to bear. Remembering to actually LIVE our lives is the only thing that works, but it's also a constant effort now where it used to be automatic. Guess that's the price we pay, huh? Regardless, thanks for posting and being so raw and real. It's good to know we're not alone in feeling so alone. ;)

VERY well said! "Our expectations were the first casualty." - This was exactly the first thing to go. Was a tough pill at the time, but it's absolutely worked for us in the long game. Excellent comment, fren.

I had several miscarriages too. Always heartbreaking. But if there's a silver lining, the child isn't forming correctly or something else is wrong enough for your amazing body to determine it wouldn't be beneficial for the child to come into the world in that condition. God made us SO perfectly, and he's so merciful. That's the way I chose to think about it anyway. Was somewhat comforting for me. I pray your precious little bundle is growing healthy and strong this time! I know you can't WAIT till he/she gets here!

Yes, it depends on the state you're in and what kind of regulations they have in place. But you can definitely get around most things. Let me know if you need a religious exemption. I have an online church I can send you to that'll give you one for free, regardless of whether you're a member or not. Not sure that'll help, but just putting it out there.

TOTALLY agree w/you. The amount of shots they give children in the first couple of years of life is insane. We opted out of everything when I had our kids 23 and 22 years ago. It was probably easier then because there was still the autism discussion around the MMR at that time, but we did have to jump through stupid hoops at the beginning of every school year - notarized health forms, waivers, etc. They even sent a notice home one year stating that since our kids weren't vaccinated against anything, they would be the first ones to be sent home if there was any sort of outbreak at the school. LOL! (raising hand) Yes, please! Throw me in that brair patch. Once I learned about the kickbacks these docs receive in pushing ALL vaccines, I was done trusting ever again. I don't even give blood anymore.

Unfortunately, you have a long, not always pleasant road ahead of you in making this educated decision for yourself and your baby, but it's totally worth every second of it. We aren't supposed to think for ourselves, right? Hold firm in this wise choice, and may God bless you w/a sweet, healthy baby!
