I call BS. I've left a phone at a restaurant before. They put it in a box and wait for you to come get it. The phone is locked so you can't read it anyway. No way workers searched through it.
To be fair, not every place follows the same protocol. Also, some people might not remember to lock their phone. I had an Android phone once with no screen lock. Thought it was convenient. Then it was stolen. Never again....

I'm curious what made someone (either the person who found it or who they turned it over to) look at the videos of this "popular" coach. I've read the phone was unlocked. If someone left their phone unattended with me I would do everything I could to make sure they knew I didn't invade their privacy.
